HRMS for Healthcare · Available now

Keep workforce decisions tied to the people and evidence behind them.

Healthcare HR teams connect each employee to a position, department and location while coordinating recruiting, onboarding, leave, payroll, benefits, reviews and training. Clinical Staff Assignments add a healthcare-specific path: a credentialing owner records the license, issuer, facility and privilege scope, attaches source evidence and follows review decisions through assignment and active service.

Help for the next action

Ask Proto to help prepare workforce work while people retain the decisions.

It can

  • Credentialing Specialist: Find submitted assignments with approaching expiry and list their pending verification observations.
  • Credential Reviewer: Gather the current assignment revision, source references and open follow-up actions for a decision.
  • Recruiter: Summarize applications by stage for an approved requisition.
  • Manager: Show submitted leave requests and timesheets assigned for review.

Stays with a person

  • A person remains responsible for credential review, leave and time approval, offer approval and payroll release.
  • Proto can organize the evidence and prepare the next action, but a named reviewer should inspect the current records and record the decision.
  • External payment, filing, signing and issuer results need the connected system's actual response.
  • Keep payment confirmation with that service because the payroll records have no payment-reference field.

Implementation

Roll out one team at a time

Start with one team and one process, then add the rest once the basics are running.

  1. Define ownership

Name the HR, credentialing, recruiting, manager and payroll owners who will make decisions and maintain records.

  2. Load foundations

Configure organizations, license definitions, departments, positions, locations, payroll calendars and leave types.

  3. Reconcile people and assignments

Import employees with current position and manager links, then clinical assignments with expiry and source evidence.

  4. Rehearse decisions

Test a returned credential review, approved leave request, recruiting offer and payroll approval with separate acting people.

  5. Connect outcomes

Add credential source, payment, filing, carrier and signing connections needed for the first live scope.

FAQ

Questions, answered

Scope, rollout and pricing for Healthcare HRMS.

All questions
How do I get started?

Click Get started, then use Proto to configure HRMS for Healthcare for your business. Begin with one facility, its employees and clinical assignments, and a small reviewer group. Rehearse a submitted assignment and a returned decision before expanding.

Who reviews a clinical assignment?

The Credential Reviewer inspects verification evidence and records a decision against the current assignment revision. The Credentialing Specialist prepares the record; HR Manager confirms the active assignment.

Can we follow expiring credentials?

Yes. Clinical assignments have expiry dates, training records have expiration dates, and follow-up actions have assigned people and due dates. Review the evidence before the assignment status changes.

How does recruiting connect to HR?

A requisition leads to applications, interviews and offers. After an accepted offer and actual hire, HR creates the employee and onboarding records.

Who approves leave?

The named approver reviews a submitted leave request with its dates, type and balance context. Set the manager and HR authority during implementation.

How are hours reviewed?

Employees submit weekly timesheets with dated time entries. The named approver reviews the entries and records the decision before payroll uses them.

What does payroll track?

Payroll calendars, runs, statements and statement lines retain the period, totals and employee detail. Payment execution and tax remittance use connected services and their returned references.

Can benefits and training be included?

Benefit plans and enrollments capture coverage choices and contributions. Courses, course enrollments and training records capture learning assignments and completion evidence.

How do we protect sensitive records?

Give access according to each role's work. Review employee identity, dependent, pay and performance details separately from broad team visibility. Rehearse access with real sample records before release.
