Ask Proto about the next case

Ask Proto to configure and explain work from the employee and request records.

It can

  • Employee: Show my leave requests and pay statements for the period I can access.
  • HR Business Partner (HRBP): Find submitted service requests assigned to this owner and explain the linked evidence.
  • Payroll Admin: Compare a pay statement with its run, lines and active benefit enrollment.
  • L&D Admin: Find course enrollments due for an employee and their completed training record.

Stays with a person

  • A person still reviews the current source revision, checks evidence and makes the approval decision.
  • External payment, carrier and tax results need their named owners to reconcile them.

  4. Rehearse employee access

Have an Employee account use personal leave, time, statement and learning records.

  5. Review a cycle

Walk a submitted request, an approved leave case, a timesheet and a pay statement from source to decision.

FAQ

Questions, answered

Scope, rollout and pricing for HRMS with Employee Self-Service.

All questions
How do I get started?

Click Get started, then use Proto to configure HRMS with Employee Self-Service for your business. Pilot one employee group, one payroll period and a reviewed leave or service request.

What can an employee see?

The Employee role works with its own leave, time and goals and reads its permitted statements, balances, enrollments and training records. Rehearse access with an actual employee account before release.

How does leave approval work?

A leave request names the employee, leave type, dates and approver. Its status records whether it is submitted, approved, rejected, cancelled or taken. Review the related balance as part of the decision.

How are weekly hours recorded?

A timesheet covers an employee and week. Dated time entries carry hours and categories. The timesheet holds the submitted or approved state for payroll review.

Where does an employee find a pay statement?

A pay statement links the employee, period and payroll run. The employee reads their own statement; Payroll Admin can inspect its lines and run context.

Can an expense claim be reviewed?

An employee request can be typed Expense and carry a claim amount. Related evidence, review decisions, follow-up work and external reconciliation keep the case traceable.

How do benefit enrollments relate to pay?

An enrollment names the employee, plan, coverage tier, effective dates and contribution amounts. Payroll Admin can compare that record with a statement deduction for the period.

Who handles hiring records?

Recruiter manages candidates, applications, interviews, requisitions and offers. Hiring Manager works with their requisition and interview responsibilities. HR Business Partner (HRBP) maintains the employee record after the hire.

How is training tracked?

A course enrollment shows assigned or self-enrolled learning and its status. A training record keeps completed training with completion and expiration dates.
