Help for the next action

Use Proto to help prepare and inspect the training cycle.

It can

  • Education Administrator: Prepare the first course setup and identify requested enrollments for review.
  • Instructor: Find scheduled sessions and submitted results that need the instructor's attention.
  • Academic Reviewer: Bring graded results and their linked assessments into the review queue.
  • Fee Coordinator: Summarize issued and partly paid learner fees for follow-up.

Stays with a person

  • People decide whether to approve enrollment and whether a graded result is ready for review.
  • The assistant can prepare the connected records and show the current status, but the named owner makes the decision.
  • Check references and dates before recording a change.

Implementation

Roll out one team at a time

Start with one team and one process, then add the rest once the basics are running.

  1. Set up people and access

Confirm Education Administrator, Instructor and Academic Reviewer assignments; add the people who teach the first course.

  2. Prepare the course

Enter dates, capacity and instructor, then schedule its sessions and assessment.

  3. Rehearse enrollment

Create a learner and requested place; after approval, update the learner and inspect the new active enrollment.

  4. Record learning

Deliver a session, capture attendance and submit a score for academic review.

  5. Check follow-up

Inspect one certification requirement or award and one learner fee if those records are in the first operating cycle.

FAQ

Questions, answered

Scope, rollout and pricing for IT Training Tracker.

All questions
How do I get started?

Click Get started, then use Proto to configure IT Training Tracker for your business. Begin with one course, its instructor, a small learner group and the first scheduled session.

What does an enrollment connect?

An enrollment links a learner to a course and carries its own date and status. Keep that link when the learner joins another course.

Who reviews course requests?

Education Administrator reviews the requested place. After approval, the administrator marks the learner Enrolled and creates an active enrollment for that course.

How are classes scheduled?

A course has a date range and instructor. Each class session has its own start, end, room and delivery status.

How is attendance recorded?

Instructor records Present, Absent or Excused against a learner and a class session.

What happens to assessment results?

Instructor submits a learner score against a course assessment. A graded result then goes to Academic Reviewer for review.

How do certification records connect?

A requirement belongs to an enrollment. An award links a person to a requirement and can include award and expiry dates plus a certificate attachment.

How are fees followed up?

A fee links to a learner and keeps its charge amount, paid amount, due date and status together.

Can I review progress across courses?

Use the enrollment, session, attendance and result reports to inspect current states and follow up with the responsible person.
