Prepare the next review with Proto

Use Proto to prepare records and review the next decision.

It can

  • Assessment Owner: Prepare the next assessment scope from the named employer, business unit and period.
  • Control Owner: Gather the control and risk context before a test is recorded.
  • Compliance Manager: List assessments awaiting review and the findings tied to each one.
  • Remediation Owner: Find assigned actions due for evidence submission.

Stays with a person

  • The authorized people decide legal outcomes, assessment approvals and independent retest results.
  • Proto can organize the source records and prepare the work for review.
  • A decision should refer to the current revision and evidence, and a recorded operation failure should be investigated through its receipt.

Implementation

Roll out one team at a time

Start with one team and one process, then add the rest once the basics are running.

  1. Set employer context

Add the organization, business unit, active team members and their responsibilities.

  2. Define assessment practice

Agree scope statements, periods, risk scale versions, control descriptions and evidence references.

  3. Run a bounded review

Plan an assessment, test a control and record a passing and a failing sample.

  4. Rehearse decisions

Review the assessment revision, raise a finding, submit an action and record an independent retest.

  5. Check workforce exceptions

Submit a check with jurisdiction and time evidence, record the legal decision. If an operation receipt is present, investigate its result state.

FAQ

Questions, answered

Scope, rollout and pricing for Labor Law Compliance.

All questions
How do I get started?

Click Get started, then use Proto to configure Labor Law Compliance for your business. Begin with one employer, one business unit, a defined assessment period and a representative control test.

What does an assessment cover?

An assessment records the employer, business unit, period, subject, scope and owner. Tests, findings, attachments and review decisions connect to that assessment.

Can we review wage and hour exceptions?

Yes. Assessment tests record samples and exceptions, while workforce checks carry jurisdiction, reviewed date and exception hours for legal review against actual time evidence.

How are OSHA and classification work represented?

Use assessment subjects and scope statements, risks, controls, tests and findings to organize those reviews. Set the policy and evidence practice with the people responsible for each area.

Who makes the approval decision?

The assigned reviewer records the assessment decision and its source revision. A Legal Reviewer examines submitted workforce checks against jurisdiction and time evidence.

What happens after a failed test?

The team can open a finding linked to the assessment and control, assign a corrective action and record an independent retest.

Can supporting files be attached?

Yes. Assessment attachments carry a title, evidence type, upload date and internal or shared visibility.

How do we investigate a failed operation?

If a receipt was recorded, inspect its result state and failure reason, then follow its parent assessment and operation key.

What should we connect first?

Connect the time evidence and document sources needed for the first assessment. Agree who owns each source and how corrected information reaches the reviewers.

What drives the cost?

Review the current pricing page for platform and agent use, then scope imports and connections for the first operating cycle.
