Warehouse outbound delivery
Warehouse outbound teams need a visible custody point between preparing freight and sending a driver on the road. A load gives the movement its owner, partner and promise. The ordered stops give the route its first pickup visit and receiving addresses. A delivery stop gives the driver a place to record the recipient, package count and proof when the goods are handed over.
How Last-mile Delivery Platform is set up for you
Release planning
Dispatcher checks the first stop, appointment windows and assignment interval before the vehicle leaves.
Custody decision
A submitted delivery stop goes to Warehouse Handoff Reviewer for an explicit approval or rejection.
Receiving proof
Driver records the handover time and a proof reference, signature or photo; Operations Reviewer can later examine the evidence.
Choose one outbound lane with a known pickup and delivery address. Record the pickup visit as the earliest ordered stop and agree who enters arrival and departure. Use a driver and vehicle with current readiness records. Decide which receiving evidence is acceptable for ordinary delivery and what happens when the recipient refuses or the package count is disputed. Rehearse a submitted handoff, a rejected handoff and a corrected resubmission with the same people who will run the process.
The warehouse system remains the authority for warehouse preparation and inventory. Set up any exchange of release or custody information deliberately, with a named owner for errors. The delivery records can then show the movement and receiving outcome without implying that inventory balances have been changed.
