What you can do
Organization scope
Organizations own the events, venues and team members that operate them. Each event records its organization and selected venue. Venue eligibility notes, address and contact give the Event Owner an operational check before an event is submitted for review.
How the work is organized
- Organization scope. Admin maintains the active organization and its time zone and currency. Team Members link a platform user to the organization and record an active state and role title.
- Venue choice. Admin maintains venue identity, contact, address and eligibility note. Event Owner checks the proposed venue against the event window and capacity before seeking approval.
- Staff access. The owner, reviewer and gate staff need different access to the same event. Membership and active state should be checked during setup and whenever a person changes responsibilities.
What to agree during setup
Admin should confirm each venue and active team member belongs to the operating organization. Event Owner checks the venue address, contact and eligibility note before seeking approval. Rehearse moving an event to another venue after review; Independent Reviewer must decide the changed event revision before admissions open.
Check the handoff on an actual case
An Event Owner planning a program at a venue checks its eligibility note, address and contact, then links the venue to the event. Admin confirms the venue belongs to the operating organization and the owner is an active team member. The Independent Reviewer can inspect the event and linked venue before approval. If the venue changes, the event revision is reviewed again so the decision remains about the actual place of operation.
Admin can confirm the venue and owner belong to the same organization. Event Owner can show the venue contact and eligibility note beside the event plan. When the venue changes, the reviewer sees the new event revision and records a fresh decision before admissions open.
The venue record gives staff a contact and address for operational questions, while the event record carries the specific booking window. Admin can correct a venue detail without changing another organization’s event. Event Owner should still send any changed event venue through review before the revised event opens.
What your team sees
- Event status board — See which owned events are draft, in review, approved or open.
- Event schedule — Check venue assignments alongside the event window.
Follow the work through
Follow Event review for the decisions and evidence that carry this work forward. Review the data model for its record links and roles for access checks.
