What you can do

Fulfillment in daily work

An approved dealer order sets the fulfillment limit. Picking identifies actual product and quantity against a reservation. Dispatch records what left the warehouse, while a route records the planned visits and assigned operator. An attempted visit, an accepted delivery and a transfer of title can occur at different times; each needs its own evidence.

How the work is organized

  • Pick. Assign physical tasks to operators and record picked quantity against eligible order scope.
  • Dispatch. Verify ready shipment quantity and keep its actual dispatch evidence with the current order line.
  • Delivery. Release a route with its operator, stop sequence and load evidence, then record each visit and its line outcomes.

What to agree during setup

Agree whether title transfers at dispatch or at delivery for each accepted order. Set the source warehouse, transport reference, assigned operator and route coordinator. Decide what evidence operators capture for arrival, completion, refusal or damage. A planned stop sequence is a dispatch plan; it does not establish a successful visit. Staff should know who can correct a delivery attempt and how a successor stop is linked when a visit is rescheduled.

Check the handoff on an actual case

Prepare a shipment with two order lines and a route with one dealer stop. Assign a pick and let the operator record a partial picked quantity. The warehouse manager checks the ready scope before shipment dispatch and the route release. At the dealer, the operator records an attempt in which part of one line is accepted and another portion is refused. The result allocates each quantity once; the route can carry an exception while the order remains partly fulfilled.

Review title timing for this order. Under delivery terms, the dispatched remainder stays owned in transit until accepted delivery transfers it. Under dispatch terms, the actual handover is the title event. Finance invoices only the eligible title-transferred quantity. If the refused quantity returns, its authorization and disposition follow the return record instead of rewriting the original dispatch or successful delivery.

What your team sees

  • My Pick Tasks — Shows the operator’s assigned picks and recorded quantity.
  • Delivery Schedule — Shows released routes by assigned operator and planned window.
  • Dealer Order Board — Shows remaining accepted demand after partial shipments.
