Prepare the next visit with Proto

Ask Proto to help prepare and check nutrition care records.

It can

  • Coordinator: Find visits awaiting review and prepare a list of patients with pending consent for the coordinator to check.
  • Clinician: Summarize recorded food entries and restrictions for a selected patient before the visit.
  • Governance administrator: Find privileges pending verification and assemble their dates and evidence references for a person to inspect.

Stays with a person

  • A person decides whether a consent is valid for a purpose, a clinical note is ready to sign, a privilege is verified or a charge is approved.
  • Proto can assemble the relevant records and surface inconsistencies; it should leave these decisions with the named role.
  • Check patient and encounter identity before applying any change.

FAQ

Questions, answered

Scope, rollout and pricing for Nutrition & Diet Planning App.

All questions
How do I get started?

Click Get started, then use Proto to configure Nutrition & Diet Planning App for your business. Begin with one patient, a food diary entry, a dietary restriction, an encounter and a signed note. Add a due follow-up task when the case calls for one.

Where is food intake recorded?

Use the food diary for consumed foods, consumption time, portion, unit and energy amount. Each entry belongs to a patient.

How are dietary restrictions classified?

Each restriction has a substance and a type: allergy, intolerance, preference or clinical. A verifier is recorded with it.

What connects a note to a visit?

A clinical note belongs to an encounter and names its author. The encounter identifies the patient and clinician for that visit.

How do clinicians record measurements?

Add an observation to the encounter with its metric, value, unit, time and recorder. Use a note for interpretation.

How does follow-up stay visible?

A care task names the patient, assignee, due date and current state. Open, in-progress and escalated work can be reviewed together.

How is consent tracked?

The patient carries an intake consent status. Separate consent records hold the purpose, version, signature date, document and current state.

Who reviews clinician access?

The Clinical Governance Administrator maintains clinician privileges and care-team assignments, including their effective dates.

How are charges and payments handled?

A charge belongs to an encounter and has its own approval state. A payment belongs to a patient and carries its receipt time, amount, reference and state. The clinic reconciles them through its billing practice.
