Who it's for

Hourly operations

Hourly operations need the payroll team to see which work has been approved before the calendar cutoff. Timecards retain the work date, hours and earning code beside the assigned approver. Compensation supplies the hourly terms and pay calendar. Payroll Specialist can compare the resulting employee amount with the work Team Manager actually reviewed.

How Payroll Processing System is set up for you

Manager decisions

Team Manager checks submitted hours against the working record and approves or rejects them. Configure the assigned approver and rehearse a disputed card so the next action remains clear to the employee.

Calendar cutoff

The daily cutoff process uses each calendar's own settings. Eligible manager-approved work becomes Locked with a recorded date. Compare the result with the period boundaries, especially where teams follow different payroll cadences.

Earning treatment

Review regular, overtime and premium categories against the employee's pay terms. Payroll Admin maintains the code flags, and Payroll Specialist compares the calculated lines with checked examples before using the cycle.

Employee exceptions

Follow an unexplained net amount back through the earning and deduction lines. Keep the hold reason visible to Payroll Manager while the source owner resolves the discrepancy.

Choose an active hourly calendar and include work on either side of its cutoff. Give Team Manager a submitted card to approve and leave another awaiting a decision. After the cutoff process, check that the eligible approved work became Locked and the other card retained its state.

Compute the pilot with effective hourly compensation and compare the result with the checked hours and earning treatment. Replay the test operation to inspect duplicate handling. After payroll approval, Employee should retrieve the correct payslip through their own account. Configure an attendance or timesheet connection only after the team agrees source matching and approval ownership.
