Integrations
Plan the provider and accounting handoffs around recorded source identities.

- Cash provider
- Separate accounting system
Systems to connect
- Cash provider. Agree how the provider event identity and receipt number reach the cash receipt record so the team can compare it with the source event.
- Separate accounting system. If another ledger is used, agree how the team transfers posted journal lines and account codes and checks the accepted result.
How connections are governed
Agree which team owns each incoming provider identity and which person resolves a duplicate or disputed receipt. Preserve the operation key and external reference for actions that use a provider. For outbound journal data, compare totals, account codes and posting dates with the accepted source. Keep a failed or needs-review action in the exception queue until its recorded effects are checked. See implementation and data model.
