What you can do
Delivery Evidence in daily delivery
Keep risks, attachments, decisions and execution receipts close to delivery work. The delivery lead tracks each risk by project, owner, probability, impact and mitigation. Attachments preserve linked requirements, designs, screenshots and evidence. Review decisions record the subject and an approved, rejected or returned outcome. Operation receipts capture whether a delivery operation succeeded or failed.
How the work is organized
- Keep risks with projects. Give each risk a probability, impact, mitigation and owner.
- Keep files findable. Store the attachment URL and parent record identifier with the delivery evidence.
- Read the outcome. Review decisions show the subject and result; operation receipts show whether an action succeeded or failed.
A campaign has a vendor dependency that threatens the presentation date. The project manager opens a schedule risk, gives it an owner and records mitigation. A marked-up design can be linked as an attachment, and the client reviewer records a decision on the deliverable. The lead sees the open risk beside the project status and follows the decision before changing the delivery plan.
What to agree during setup
Agree which subjects require a review decision, who may record it, and how a subject reference maps to the real project record. Use attachment kind consistently. Keep the file URL accessible to the people who need the evidence, and choose an owner for every open risk. Agree which deliverables require a recorded review decision and who may make it. Define how the text subject reference points to a real record before relying on a decision. Check that an attachment URL opens for its intended reviewer, and name an owner for each open risk.
Check the handoff on an actual case
Take a project with an open risk and a design attachment. Follow the risk to its owner and mitigation, then find the reviewer, outcome and date of the associated decision. Inspect a successful operation receipt and a failed attempt so the team can tell completed work from an operation that needs retry. Trace a vendor risk from the project to its owner and mitigation. Open the design attachment using its parent record, then compare the review decision’s subject and outcome with that design. A failed operation receipt calls for a retry or investigation; it is not proof that the underlying change succeeded.
What your team sees
- Delivery Exception Queue — Shows leading open risks with the owner and a path to the source record.
- Active Projects — Gives the delivery lead the engagement context for a risk or decision.
Follow the work through
Use project setup for the project context and revision triage for a recorded receipt. Review time approval when the decision concerns submitted hours.
