Component production teams

A component production team needs a clear answer when a press or work center finishes below the day's planned output. Production Dashboard links the resource and product target with recorded good units, scrap units and run minutes. The operator can also retain interval evidence against the work order so the planner can investigate what was recorded during the run.

How Production Dashboard is set up for you

Comparable product scope

Select the actual component and resource for production targets. Keep the item's unit consistent between the plan and recorded results. A similar product name does not establish the same production population.

Material readiness

Prepare material issues against the intended work order and lot. The material posting action checks free stock after reserved quantity; a large on-hand balance can still be insufficient for the requested withdrawal.

Recorded output

Capture a valid completed production interval and save the operator resolved through the staff record’s linked user account. Keep interval evidence separate from the shift actuals population used for the target comparison.

Quality decision

Present an eligible Pending batch to Quality Reviewer with completed evidence and its finished-goods lot balance. Reporting good units does not by itself approve their quality disposition.

A component production team needs a clear answer when a press or work center finishes below the day's planned output. Production Dashboard links the resource and product target with recorded good units, scrap units and run minutes. The operator can also retain interval evidence against the work order so the planner can investigate what was recorded during the run.

Choose a component family and a resource whose dated targets and shift results the planner can reconcile manually. Prepare approved demand, the work order interval and exact opening stock by item, location and lot. Rehearse insufficient free stock, an overlapping plan and a corrected shift result before expanding the comparison.

Agree which effective target and actual evidence enters the review when a submission is corrected. Keep the original evidence available so the team can explain the change. Agree any machine feed or alert delivery as a connection with a named source owner. Test that mapping against the pilot's accepted evidence before enabling regular updates.

Roles on the team

Production Planner
Owns production setup, planning and assigned operational work. Access restriction: Create/edit eligible drafts only. Active configurations require reviewed amendments. No direct edit of posted quantities, computed balances or reviewer decisions. Protected actor identity resolves from People.User and the authenticated runtime.
Production Operator
Captures assigned production work and evidence. Access restriction: Only assigned operational work. Native draft/evidence entry is limited to the listed tables; referenced setup and master records are readable solely as required labels and task context. Configuration, rates, commercial documents and approvals are never operator-editable. Quantity posting, signoff and state changes use the named guarded workflows with authenticated actor and source revision. Protected financial fields remain inaccessible.
Quality Reviewer
Reviews evidence and authorizes eligible domain outcomes. Access restriction: Review actions only on exact submitted revisions, independently of preparer where required. No raw approval or protected balance editing. Sensitive records visible only within professional and organizational authority.
