How a Public Works Department rollout works

Start with one agency project and rehearse the full work-to-inspection handoff.

  1. Set identity

Load agency and project records, connect team members to platform users, and agree on organization access.

  2. Plan work

Choose a representative project, name a package owner, enter the due date and hour budget, and sequence its task lines.

  3. Review delivery

Attach a field record, complete the tasks and have an independent reviewer decide the submitted revision.

  4. Inspect the result

Record location, time, contractor and accepted quantity; rehearse both approval and rejection.

  5. Reconcile outcomes

Compare pending or uncertain receipts with their local effects before expanding to more work.

What the customer provides

Provide agency and project codes, contractor contacts, current package scopes, task plans, active team members and the people who may independently review. Decide how accepted quantity is measured for each work class and which evidence is required. Bring examples of a late task, returned review, rejected inspection and disputed operation receipt for rehearsal.

Changing it afterwards

When scope changes, preserve the original package revision, decision and evidence. Separate unexecuted work from accepted work before cancellation or compensation. Review access whenever a team member moves agencies or roles. Recheck the operation receipt and source revision after a change so the exception queue remains meaningful. See the data model and roles for setup detail.
