ReviewWhat you can do
Start with the inspected work
The Inspector opens an inspection for a service or operating subject, selects its type, schedules it and assigns a person. The inspection number and subject reference help the property team recognize the case. Service inspections can cover a guest-facing event; incoming, in-process and final types use the same review path. The Business Overview gives the quality team a current-state distribution and assigned work queue.
Each inspection check records the requirement, observation, result and attached evidence. The checks stay linked to the inspection, so the Quality Manager can inspect the basis for a decision. A failed check is a recorded result; the reviewer still decides whether to accept or reject the parent inspection.
How the work is organized
- Assign the case. Record the subject, type and scheduled date, then choose the responsible person.
- Capture check evidence. Link each requirement and result to the inspection, with an attachment where needed.
- Make the decision. Submit the inspection for review once check evidence is recorded; the Quality Manager accepts or rejects it.
What to agree during setup
Agree how subject references are used across properties and what each inspection type means. Decide which requirements need separate check records, what adequate evidence looks like, and when a check may be marked not applicable. Give Inspectors access to assigned work and Quality Managers access to the review queue.
For a service case, use a consistent reference from the property operation. If a property check or guest issue concerns the event, link its operating record to the inspection. That connection preserves the room, standard or stay context without forcing those details into the inspection subject.
Check the handoff on an actual case
A room service check is scheduled before a busy arrival period. The Inspector records the subject, marks the inspection in progress and captures a linked check for a service requirement. The observation says what was seen and an attachment retains evidence. The Inspector submits the inspection for review. The Quality Manager opens it, inspects the linked check and accepts it, or rejects it and continues through a nonconformance. The completed date records when the inspection ended.
Rehearse the path with one passing result and one failing result. Confirm that the reviewer sees the same inspection number and check attachment. A rejected inspection should remain traceable from the later investigation.
