  • Inspection evidence source
  • Supplier order exchange
  • Accounting system

Systems to connect

  • Inventory source. Agree which source owns opening and purchased stock. Map the material, location and lot identities, then reconcile quantities with the guarded material posting so consumption is applied once.
  • Inspection evidence source. Agree how the team’s testing process supplies the inspection and accepted production output needed for the batch decision. Demonstrate the handoff with Quality Reviewer using an actual pilot lot.
  • Supplier order exchange. Connect supplier documents to the purchase commitment and received quantities. Check the external acknowledgment separately from a local order marked Sent.
  • Accounting system. Keep purchase invoices, ledger entries and payment evidence with the designated accounting source. Agree the item and party mapping before configuring an exchange.

How connections are governed

Assign a responsible person for each source and decide which operating records it can change. Preserve material and supplier identities and inspect the current quantities before applying an update. Reconcile an external acknowledgment against the same source record used for the request.

During the pilot, check that historical consumption is not applied again and an accepted-output receipt is not duplicated by a later synchronization. Investigate an unknown external outcome using its original source identity before submitting another request.

Agree correction ownership before enabling automatic exchange. Keep the production-release and Quality Reviewer decisions in their guarded operating routes. Review implementation and the data model with the source owners.
