Community running clubs
Community running clubs can start with a familiar venue and a recurring run. Event Coordinator prepares the event and its capacity, Independent Reviewer decides the current plan, and Admissions Steward records reserved places and actual arrivals separately. Operations Overview gives the team a common view of attendance and unresolved operating questions.
How Running Club Management is set up for you
Volunteer handoff
Keep the event owner and venue contact clear before opening reservations. Volunteers should identify the correct event by its subject, date and location before making a request.
Attendance discipline
A reserved place records intent to attend. The gate action records actual arrival once against the authorized reservation line, giving the coordinator a dependable basis for the closing discussion.
Exception ownership
Retain operation receipts so a volunteer can inspect an uncertain request. Assign a revision, admission or payment question to the responsible role before repeating an action.

Operations Overview gives the team a common view of attendance and unresolved operating questions.
Choose a club run at an eligible venue and agree how capacity and reservation quantity are counted. Prepare the event, obtain approval and complete the opening handoff. Reserve a place and have a different volunteer identify the reservation at arrival. Repeat the admission request in the rehearsal and inspect the recorded outcome.
Then cancel unused scope in a separate case and explain why a retained reservation record does not by itself authorize admission. Ask Auditor to follow the event revision and receipts while the coordinator distinguishes actual attendance from the reservation list.
Expand to more club events after volunteers can complete the handoff without reconstructing earlier actions from messages. Follow [plan and approve](/running-club-management/processes/plan-and-approve) and [reserve and admit](/running-club-management/processes/reserve-and-admit) for the pilot cycle.
