What you can do

Give the editorial queue a clear next action

Content Creator prepares the post body, media and destination link under a recognizable post number. The author stays attached to the draft so Marketing Manager knows who can resolve a copy question. A planned publication time helps the team discuss when the content should be ready for its channel handoff.

The Posts workspace filters the queue by status, author, hashtag group and approver, shows the status distribution and opens the underlying post record. Content Creator can use that context to find a draft, address rejected copy or prepare a submitted post for the next review discussion.

How the work is organized

  • Prepare the core message. Content Creator writes the body and checks the media and destination link. Use a title that another person can recognize in the queue. Keep the central post readable before considering account-specific wording on its channel targets.
  • Reuse material deliberately. The content library holds images, video, copy snippets and link templates with an active state and expiry date. Check the asset’s intended format and alternative text before using it. Tags help the team find material associated with a theme or audience.
  • Choose the hashtag context. Saved hashtag groups retain an ordered list of tags and optional channel context. Select the group that belongs with the message, then check the resulting copy during review. A familiar group name should still lead to the intended tag sequence.

What to agree during setup

Agree the post numbering convention and the person responsible for each draft. Decide how library material is named and who maintains expiry dates when a campaign ends. Establish the tag categories the team will use so a product tag and a campaign tag have clear meanings.

Set a review habit for destination links, media format and alternative text. Decide how Marketing Manager coordinates corrections when the central message changes after target-specific copy has been prepared. The reviewer should see the content the team actually intends to use for the selected accounts.

Check the handoff on an actual case

Prepare a rehearsal product-launch post with a library image, a destination link and a launch hashtag group. Content Creator opens the asset and checks its expiry, then inspects the ordered tags before submitting the draft. Marketing Manager should be able to recognize the message from its title and author in the queue.

Introduce a library image whose expiry falls before the intended campaign window. The team replaces or updates the material through its agreed process before relying on it. Next, change the destination link and ask the reviewer to inspect the current copy rather than assuming an earlier preview still represents it.

Finally, open a rejected draft and use the approval comments to identify the required change. Keep its next review handoff clear so rejected content is not mistaken for an approved item waiting for channel delivery.
