Prepare the week's observations with Proto

Prepare and review observation work with Proto.

It can

  • Observation Coordinator: List past-due requests by campus and priority.
  • Observer: Show my assigned requests with no first response yet.
  • Instructional Reviewer: Show submitted observation reviews waiting for my decision.
  • Operations Analyst: Summarize failed and needs-review operations this week.

Stays with a person

  • Coordinators route requests, observers record observations and reviewers approve them.
  • Proto prepares lists and drafts; it does not respond, approve or close on its own, and it works with the permissions of the person or service account it runs as.

Implementation

Roll out one team at a time

Start with one team and one process, then add the rest once the basics are running.

  1. Agree the operating boundary

The system holds observation requests, events, observation reviews, decisions and evidence. Lesson planning, student data and HR performance systems stay connected. The school decides observation policy and what a development plan requires.

  2. Map the source data

Agree campus codes, rubric and request priorities. Load campuses and open requests.

  3. Configure a bounded pilot

Run one term’s observations for one region: requests, responses, reviews and approval.

  4. Rehearse the exceptions

The first response time is set once, an observer cannot approve their own review, a request closes only from resolved, and paused time is excluded from response measures.

  5. Reconcile and release

Compare requests and observations with your current records, get sign-off from the coordinator and agree the rollback window.

FAQ

Questions, answered

Scope, rollout and pricing for Teacher Performance Mgmt.

All questions
How do I get started?

Click Get started, then use Proto to configure Teacher Performance Mgmt for your business. Start with one region's campuses and one term's observation cycle before adding more.

How does a school ask for an observation?

The coordinator opens a request for the campus with a priority and due date and routes it to an observer.

What does an observation review record?

The teacher, when they were observed, the rubric score and the development plan, with evidence on the request.

Who approves an observation?

An instructional reviewer other than the observer.

Does waiting on the school count against the observer?

No. The observer pauses the request while waiting, and paused time is excluded from response times.

Can a request be reopened?

Yes. A resolved request can be reopened on the same record when the school needs more support.

Does it replace our HR performance system?

No. Approved reviews can be sent to the system that holds formal performance records.

Can we run several schools or networks?

Yes. Each school is a campus, and several organizations can each run their own program.

What drives the cost?

Ordinary manual use has no per-user charge under the platform policy. Imports, integrations, agent execution and other machine work use prepaid credits; implementation is scoped separately. The pricing page lists current rates.
