Theme Park Management · Available now

Rides inspected, gates counted, every ticket settled.

Theme Park Management runs a park's operating events, such as a regular day, a night event or a special ticketed show, from planning to close. An event has a venue, a start and end, a capacity and an owner, and moves from draft to review, approved, open, completed or cancelled.

Prepare opening with Proto

Prepare and review park operations with Proto.

It can

  • Park Operations Manager: Show today's event with capacity, reservations so far and rides not yet released.
  • Ride Operations Supervisor: List ride sessions waiting for release with their inspection evidence.
  • Payments Clerk: List refunds requested but not yet confirmed by the provider.
  • Gate Attendant: Show refused repeat scans today and where each ticket was first used.

Stays with a person

  • Supervisors release rides, the operations manager approves and closes events, and the payments clerk verifies payments.
  • Proto prepares lists and drafts; it does not release, approve or verify on its own, and it works with the permissions of the person or service account it runs as.

Implementation

Roll out one team at a time

Start with one team and one process, then add the rest once the basics are running.

  1. Agree the operating boundary

The system holds events, ride readiness, admissions, payment evidence, reviews and operation receipts. Ticket sales channels, card processing and ride control stay in connected systems. The park decides capacities and release rules.

  2. Map the source data

Agree venue codes, event numbering and ticket references. Load upcoming events and sold tickets.

  3. Configure a bounded pilot

Run two weeks of operating days live: readiness, release, approval, gates and close.

  4. Rehearse the exceptions

A ticket admits once, reservations never exceed capacity, an event does not open with an unreleased ride, and an unconfirmed refund is never shown as done.

  5. Reconcile and release

Compare attendance and payments with your current systems, get sign-off from the operations manager and agree the rollback window.

FAQ

Questions, answered

Scope, rollout and pricing for Theme Park Management.

All questions
How do I get started?

Click Get started, then use Proto to configure Theme Park Management for your business. Start with one season's operating days, your main rides and gate scanning, and run two weeks live before adding more.

Can an event open with a ride that has not been checked?

The event is approved only once its rides have been released. A ride that fails its check stays closed and is not released.

Who releases a ride?

A ride operations supervisor, after reviewing the operator's check and inspection evidence. The operator cannot release their own check.

What stops a ticket being used twice?

Each ticket admits once; a second scan is refused and shows when it was first used.

Can we sell beyond capacity?

No. Reservations stop when the event reaches capacity.

How are refunds handled?

A refund is recorded when the provider confirms it, and is never shown as done before then.

Does it control rides or sell tickets online?

No. Ride control and online ticket sales stay in your existing systems; this system receives tickets and inspection results.

Can we run night events separately?

Yes. Each night event can be its own operating event with its own capacity.

What drives the cost?

Ordinary manual use has no per-user charge under the platform policy. Imports, integrations, agent execution and other machine work use prepaid credits; implementation is scoped separately. The pricing page lists current rates.
