AI agent

Prepare the next review with your agent

Prepare review context and trace stock evidence with an assistant acting in your scope.

It can

  • Inventory Clerk: Find my stock requests, collect their supporting document links and summarize bond entries waiting for the supervisor's review.
  • Inventory Supervisor: Compare the requested quantity with eligible lot stock and held reservations before I decide the operating scope.
  • Auditor: Trace a request's decision, posted movement and compensating evidence through its verification result.
  • App Administrator: List the organization membership and time-zone settings to check before the next warehouse team starts its pilot.

Stays with a person

  • The agent cannot supply an independent bond-entry decision for the person who prepared it.
  • Inventory Supervisor remains responsible for the release review.
  • Authoritative customs evidence comes from the responsible source, and the warehouse team establishes the actual physical condition of the goods.
  • Tie requests to a recognizable stock request and organization.

Implementation

Roll out one team at a time

Start with one team and one process, then add the rest once the basics are running.

  1. Choose the opening case

Select a recognizable imported lot, storage location and customs entry. Agree the stock unit, opening quantity and organization before preparing a release proposal.

  2. Prepare membership and references

App Administrator sets the organization and team. Inventory Clerk checks the item, location and lot records. Name the independent Inventory Supervisor who will review the entry.

  3. Rehearse customs review

Submit the entry with its supporting document. Test a creator attempting self-decision and a reviewer acting on an old revision. Complete the separate stock release decision on the current request.

  4. Rehearse stock effects

Try an excessive reservation, then a valid hold. Execute an approved receipt request and inspect the signed movement, resulting balance and operation receipt. Repeat the action to check its existing outcome.

  5. Rehearse correction and verification

Introduce a mismatch between authorized and posted quantities. Confirm the failed verification leaves the request unchanged. Test a compensating reversal and ask Auditor to explain the retained evidence.

All questions
How do I get started?

Click Get started, then use Proto to configure Bonded Warehouse Mgmt for your business. Begin with a reconciled stock lot, a representative customs entry and a stock request that an independent Inventory Supervisor can review.

What belongs on a bond entry?

Record the customs entry reference, entry date, dutiable value and release reference against the relevant stock request and organization. Keep supporting documents associated with that request so the supervisor can inspect the evidence.

Who decides a submitted entry?

An Inventory Supervisor who did not create the entry checks the current Submitted revision. The action refuses self-decision and stale revisions. The reviewer can approve or reject the entry.

How does the stock release decision differ?

The release decision concerns the parent stock request and its authorized scope. It retains the review rationale and an operation receipt. Entry approval and execution of the stock quantity remain separate outcomes to inspect.

How much stock can be reserved?

The reservation action checks eligible on-hand quantity after active held reservations are deducted. An excessive request produces a Failed receipt with the shortfall instead of creating another hold.

What happens when a request is cancelled?

Inventory Supervisor uses the permitted correction or cancellation action. Held reservations associated with the affected scope are released so the free inventory reflects the change.

How is a posted mistake reversed?

The reversal action posts a compensating movement linked to the original and corrects the lot balance. The original movement remains unchanged. Repeating the reversal returns the existing compensation.

What does a failed verification mean?

The posted movement total did not match the authorized request quantity. The check records a Failed receipt and leaves the request unchanged while Inventory Supervisor investigates the discrepancy.

How do we organize carrier appointments?

Record the carrier and dock details on the load, then use sequenced stops with an appointment and location. Inventory Clerk records the observed progress and any missed stop for the next shift.

Which documents should we bring to the pilot?

Bring the customs and release evidence for the chosen case, plus any relevant certificate or manifest. Agree the source link and confirm that the intended reviewer can open it before starting Implementation.
