What you can do
Instruction preparation in daily work
The Accounting Preparer opens an instruction for the correct organization and counterparty. The record number and subject let the team identify the intended work; the date, US dollar amount and revision establish the terms that a reviewer will see. Draft is the point at which the preparer can still correct the instruction before asking for an independent decision.
How the work is organized
- Identify the work. Give each instruction a record number, subject, owner and organization.
- Keep the evidence. Select an eligible counterparty and attach the supporting request.
- Handle the result. Keep the revision current when the amount, date or counterparty changes.
What to agree during setup
Keep the counterparty eligible in the same organization. The App Administrator maintains counterparty identity and eligibility notes. The preparer attaches supporting documents and identifies the account scope through journal entries. A change in amount or counterparty should be visible as a new revision before review.
Choose an active counterparty in the same organization and a named Accounting Preparer for the Draft. Confirm who may change the amount and who may move it into Review. Carry the record number into later provider correspondence so the team can find the original instruction.
Check the handoff on an actual case
For a transfer to a custodian, enter the instruction with its amount and date, attach the supporting request, and link debit and credit entries. Ask the Accounting Reviewer to inspect that exact revision. If the amount changes while the decision is pending, return to the revised draft and ask for a fresh decision; do not carry the earlier decision forward.
For a transfer to a custodian, create the Draft instruction with its date, amount and eligible counterparty. Attach the request and link debit and credit entries to the parent. Check the entries balance before moving to Review. If the amount changes, revise the instruction and have the Accounting Reviewer decide on that revision.
The record number should follow the instruction into provider correspondence and evidence. Check that the named owner belongs to the intended organization. A counterparty marked inactive should not be selected for new work; the App Administrator can correct eligibility before the preparer submits the instruction for review.

Follow the work through
