AI agent

Ask Proto about the work in progress

Use an assistant to inspect studio delivery work and prepare review handoffs.

It can

  • Project Coordinator: Show active packages due soon, their owners, and tasks with incomplete effort records.
  • Contributor: Find task work for an assigned package and prepare an evidence handoff for review.
  • Asset Reviewer: Summarize submitted asset revisions with build references and linked package context.
  • Independent Reviewer: Open a package's source revision, attachments, tasks, and prior decisions before a new review.

Stays with a person

  • A person checks the creative result, decides whether delivery evidence is sufficient, and approves or returns the current revision.
  • The assistant may prepare context, but an independent reviewer records the decision.
  • External provider confirmation must be observed through its configured connection before acceptance depends on it.
  • Review access and usage settings with Admin during setup.

Implementation

Roll out one team at a time

Start with one team and one process, then add the rest once the basics are running.

  1. Set scope

Admin records the studio organization, active project, team members, project contact, and eligibility note. Agree which organization owns each package.

  2. Prepare a package

Project Coordinator records an owner, due date, budget hours, and task plan. Check dependencies and the starting revision.

  3. Review evidence

Contributor adds task effort and attachments. Asset Reviewer reviews a submitted revision with its build reference. Independent Reviewer records a package decision and reason.

  4. Reconcile outcomes

Operations Reviewer checks a pending or failed receipt against the package and linked effects. Confirm who handles a result that needs further review.

  5. Expand

Add further projects and teams after the pilot package reaches an accepted outcome with its evidence still traceable.

All questions
How do I get started?

Click Get started, then use Proto to configure Gaming Studio Project Mgmt for your business. Begin with one active organization, one project, a coordinator-owned package, its task plan, and an independent delivery review.

What is the main unit of work?

A Work Package holds the project, owner, budget hours, due date, revision, and lifecycle status. Tasks, asset reviews, attachments, decisions, and operation receipts connect to it.

Can we follow task effort?

Yes. Tasks hold planned and actual hours, due and completion dates, and dependency text. Review the task rows within their package when comparing effort with the original plan.

How are asset revisions reviewed?

The asset review records a revision, asset type, build reference, and status. An Asset Reviewer checks a submitted revision and records its decision against the work package context.

Where does delivery evidence go?

Attach files to the work package with a title, evidence type, uploader, upload date, and Internal or Shared visibility. Agree the visibility policy before the team starts adding files.

Who decides whether a package is ready?

An Independent Reviewer records the source revision, decision, reason, and review date. The Project Coordinator uses that decision and the package evidence when moving work toward acceptance.

What happens when a decision returns work?

The coordinator addresses the reason, updates the package or supporting evidence, and requests another review of the current revision. The earlier decision remains part of the record.

How do we handle an uncertain operation?

Operation Receipts record the action key, expected revision, result state, and failure reason. Operations Reviewer compares that receipt with the linked work package and effects before recording a verified result.

Can separate game projects share a studio organization?

Yes. Projects link to Organizations, and each Work Package links to a project counterparty and an organization. Agree the access and ownership rules for each project during setup.
