What you can do

Reservation

Admissions lines distinguish a reserved place from a person admitted at the gate. The line number, attendee reference, quantity and event link give Gate Staff a concrete record to scan. A reserved time and an admitted time mark different moments, so the team can compare commitments with actual attendance.

How the work is organized

  • Reservation. Admissions Lead checks that the event is open, that the requested quantity fits capacity and that the provider capture is verified before treating a reservation as complete.
  • Gate action. Gate Staff locates the admission line and records admission once. A repeat scan should return the original result, leaving the original admitted time intact.
  • Exception trail. Operation Receipts keep the action key, expected revision and result. If an outcome is uncertain, Finance Reviewer compares linked local effects and provider references before the line is treated as final.

What to agree during setup

Agree how Gate Staff identifies an admission line and how Admissions Lead checks its event and reserved quantity. Rehearse a scan on an already admitted line so the original admitted time survives. Define who investigates a receipt with an uncertain result and how Finance Reviewer checks its original operation key and provider reference before any further action.

Check the handoff on an actual case

For a guest with a reserved place, Gate Staff looks up the attendee reference and event before admission. A second scan of the same line must not add another admission. If the terminal response is uncertain, staff leave the receipt for review while Finance Reviewer checks the original action and verified provider event. Admissions Lead can then see reserved and admitted quantities separately for the event.

Admissions Lead can compare the reservation time with the admitted time on the same line. If a scan response is uncertain, Gate Staff retains the original operation key while Finance Reviewer checks the linked effect. The next shift can then distinguish an already admitted guest from a place that remains reserved.

Before the gate opens, Admissions Lead can check which lines have a reserved time but no admitted time. Gate Staff should use the existing line rather than create a new one for the same guest. Finance Reviewer keeps any uncertain result tied to its receipt while the original provider fact is checked.

What your team sees

  • Reserved admissions — Find event lines with a reservation time and compare their quantities with admitted lines.
  • Admission history — Check the admitted time and provider receipt on each line.
