A team operating one warehouse can start with item and location setup, reviewed requests and a small set of pick waves.
A warehouse split into picking zones can use the wave zone and route evidence to review each release against available stock.
A team coordinating packed units and outbound loads can keep carton, shipment and stop records in the same operating view.
Each stage of request to verified pick names the role that acts and the status it records, so a change is never anonymous.

Click Get started, then use Proto to configure Pick & Pack Optimization for your business. Pilot one organization, location, item, lot and request, then rehearse review, reservation, wave decision and stock verification with your team.
Inventory Supervisor reviews the current request revision and records the decision and reason. Inventory Clerk prepares the request.
No. The submitted wave is decided by someone other than its creator.
The wave decision records planning approval. The approved request's execution posts the stock movement and changes the linked lot balance.
A hold consumes free eligible quantity on its lot. The reservation check considers other active held reservations before accepting another quantity.
The reservation attempt records a failed operation receipt with the shortfall. The team can inspect the lot and request before a new attempt.
Inventory Supervisor uses a compensating movement. The original posted movement remains in the history.
Handling Units Register shows carton labels, pack state, quantity, item, pack station and packed-by information.
A load holds its carrier and door details. Its stops hold sequence, appointment, status and location. Cartons carry the handling unit's separate packing state.
Reconcile posted movement totals against the authorized request quantity. The operation receipt records verification or a failed result to investigate.
