Help with the record trail

Ask Proto to prepare package context while people retain review decisions.

It can

  • Project Coordinator: Summarize package task lines, dependencies and planned hours before a schedule proposal is submitted.
  • Project Reviewer: Gather the current proposal revision, attached evidence and prior decisions for review.
  • Delivery Lead: List packages with overdue tasks and receipts needing investigation.

Stays with a person

  • A person makes the independent review decision and confirms accepted delivery.
  • The assistant can gather linked records, but a summary is not an approval or proof that an operation's effects occurred.

Implementation

Roll out one team at a time

Start with one team and one process, then add the rest once the basics are running.

  1. Set the context

Create organizations, projects, users and team members with the right relationships.

  2. Plan work

Enter a package with owner, due date and budget hours, then add task lines and dependencies.

  3. Review a schedule

Compare proposal hours and constraints, ask an independent reviewer to decide and confirm the current revision before applying a plan.

  4. Rehearse delivery

Complete task lines, attach evidence, record a decision and accept the package only after review.

  5. Inspect exceptions

Open failed or needs-review receipts and verify their actual effects.

FAQ

Questions, answered

Scope, rollout and pricing for PM with AI Scheduling.

All questions
How do I get started?

Click Get started, then use Proto to configure PM with AI Scheduling for your business. Begin with one project, a named package owner, a task plan and an independent reviewer.

How are projects organized?

An Organization owns Projects. Work packages link to both the organization and the project, with an Owner from team members.

What goes into a work package?

Record its subject, due date, budget hours, owner and linked project. Task lines provide the detailed plan and actual hours.

How do task dependencies appear?

Each task line has a dependency text field that the coordinator can use to state the work it follows.

What does a scheduling proposal show?

It can hold predicted hours, constraint violations, generation date, model version and the package revision under consideration.

Who decides on a schedule?

A Project Reviewer records an independent decision and reason against the source revision. The coordinator applies an approved plan only after checking current authority.

How is delivery evidence shared?

Record attachments hold the file, evidence type, uploader and Internal or Shared visibility.

When is a package accepted?

After completed task work and evidence are reviewed for the current revision, the lead records the accepted package state.

What happens when an operation needs review?

The Delivery Lead checks the receipt's operation key, expected revision and linked effects before recording a completed outcome.

Where can a lead see exceptions?

Operations Overview brings together pending review decisions, failed operations, hour variance and overdue open tasks with links to their records.
