Who it's for

Shared resource production teams

Teams that share production resources need to understand which work can run in the planned interval and which product each shift result represents. Production Dashboard connects work orders to resources and keeps output targets against the selected resource, product and date. That context gives the planner a common basis for discussing a conflicting schedule and the resulting production evidence.

How Production Dashboard is set up for you

Availability ownership

Review resource name, daily capacity minutes and status before preparing a run. Maintenance or Unavailable cannot be overridden by placing the work order earlier in a board.

Complete interval checks

Inspect planned start and planned end together. The work release action rejects a release that lacks a feasible non-overlapping schedule, even when the linked order is Approved and demand is urgent.

Product-specific targets

Save a dated target against the actual product and resource. The target's planned minutes provide a planning basis and do not automatically reserve a work order interval.

Attributable results

Capture shift actuals against the correct target and use production logs to investigate the recorded operator intervals. Report comparisons by the intended target day while retaining recording date as capture context.

Teams that share production resources need to understand which work can run in the planned interval and which product each shift result represents. Production Dashboard connects work orders to resources and keeps output targets against the selected resource, product and date. That context gives the planner a common basis for discussing a conflicting schedule and the resulting production evidence.

Choose a shared resource and representative competing drafts. Confirm its availability status, the stored date precision and the timezone used for interval checks. Release an eligible draft, then attempt an overlapping run. Keep the rejected work visible while the planner prepares a feasible replacement interval.

Rehearse a shift that crosses the production-day boundary and confirm which target it uses. Correct an actual through the shift capture action and verify that the comparison includes the effective successor once. Agree resource calendars, machine-state feeds and alert channels as setup or connection choices. Use the pilot to verify each source's meaning before relying on its updates in the production discussion.

Features to start with

Roles on the team

Production Planner
Owns production setup, planning and assigned operational work. Access restriction: Create/edit eligible drafts only. Active configurations require reviewed amendments. No direct edit of posted quantities, computed balances or reviewer decisions. Protected actor identity resolves from People.User and the authenticated runtime.
Production Operator
Captures assigned production work and evidence. Access restriction: Only assigned operational work. Native draft/evidence entry is limited to the listed tables; referenced setup and master records are readable solely as required labels and task context. Configuration, rates, commercial documents and approvals are never operator-editable. Quantity posting, signoff and state changes use the named guarded workflows with authenticated actor and source revision. Protected financial fields remain inaccessible.
Quality Reviewer
Reviews evidence and authorizes eligible domain outcomes. Access restriction: Review actions only on exact submitted revisions, independently of preparer where required. No raw approval or protected balance editing. Sensitive records visible only within professional and organizational authority.
