ERP.AI
Move from a chosen app to a working process.
Prepare the people and the data alongside the software so the first live workflow has a clear owner and a dependable finish.
Prepare a small, representative implementation.
Name the process owner
Identify who owns the outcome, who administers the app, and who supports the team after launch.
Define the first scope
Choose the records, lifecycle stages, required documents, and acceptance criteria for one useful workflow.
Prepare reference data
Review identifiers, required fields, allowed values, relationships, duplicates, and historical data that must move.
Assign roles
Map people and service identities to the operations they need. Separate submission, review, and approval where the business requires it.
Test the process with more than the happy path.
Use a small dataset with a known expected result. Follow a complete transaction through its views, forms, workflow, documents, and reports. Then repeat the evaluation for a rejected request, a missing reference, a cancelled item, and an unauthorized caller.
For integrations, include duplicate delivery and temporary failure. Confirm the downstream result and the reconciliation path. For reports, verify the population, dates, units, and totals against the known sample.
Make the transition reversible where the system supports it.
Record the approved change, target environment, data-loading sequence, expected downtime or business interruption, and the person who makes the go/no-go decision. Confirm the relevant snapshot, restore, or rollback path rather than assuming there is one universal undo.
Prepare the team’s working instructions and support route. Retain the source data and migration reconciliation needed to investigate discrepancies. Define how new work will be handled during the transition.
Verify the live process and hand it over.
After release, verify access with the intended roles and complete a representative transaction in the live configuration. Confirm that reports and connected systems reflect the expected result.
Hand over the app owner, escalation contacts, integration configuration, monitoring, access-review schedule, and release procedure. Review the first operating period before extending the app to more teams or adding broader automation.
