What is in Command Centre
Version control is real, but it is not one universal log.
Command Centre covers the app-owner workflow: schema branches and commits, releases, environments, UAT, snapshots, usage, data health, API docs, and external apps. Each kind of change uses the history and recovery path that fits it.
Schema history and record history are different.
App schema work uses branches, commits, comparisons, merges, and conflict handling. Record changes appear as activity or audit events; they are not presented as commits.
Create or select a branch
Review branch commits
Inspect removals and conflicts
Merge approved changes
Record changes are events
Audit retention is plan-defined
Deleted records move to trash where supported
Trash can restore supported records
Recovery
Use the recovery path owned by that surface.
A schema merge, app snapshot, deleted record, workflow run, saved page, and deployment do not share one rollback button. Command Centre links the app owner to the relevant control.
- FindOpen the owning surface
Start in Releases, Environments, Snapshots, activity, workflows, pages, or External Apps.
- InspectRead the available history
Review commits, conflicts, run output, audit events, saved versions, or deployment records.
- RecoverUse the supported control
Merge, restore, retry, recover from trash, choose a saved page, or roll back a deployment where available.
- ReviewKeep the resulting record
The recovery produces the history supported by that product surface.
What is covered today.
These controls exist in the ERP.AI product and services. Coverage is specific: it should not be read as Git-style versioning for every record or every external action.
Manage app changes with the history they need.
Use branches and commits for schema work, snapshots for supported app state, and the relevant run, page, audit, trash, or deployment history for everything else.
