What you can do
Keep the operating record clear
The Admission Steward works from an Open event and its admission lines. Each line records a quantity and can carry an attendee reference and admission time. Reservation checks the current event revision, actor scope and capacity before writing. The operation receipt keeps a stable key so a retry can return its prior result rather than claim another place.
How the work is organized
- Check available scope. Compare requested quantity with the selected event capacity and existing admission lines.
- Confirm the effect. A reservation is Completed only when its provider capture is verified; the receipt shows the outcome.
- Scan once. Record the admission time on the line once and return that result on a repeated scan.
What to agree during setup
Agree who can reserve places and who performs admission scans. Choose how staff verify the event and participant reference at the door. Rehearse a normal admission, a repeated scan and an attempt against a changed event revision. Compare reserved quantity with the event capacity.
Check the handoff on an actual case
An approved registration is ready for a place at the workshop. The steward selects the event, checks its open status and current revision, and reserves the requested quantity. The operation receipt carries a stable key. When a participant arrives, the scan records the admission time once. A repeated scan returns the earlier result; it must not create another admitted place.
At the door, use the attendee reference and selected parent event to locate the correct line. Check the quantity and whether an admission time is already present before scanning. If the first response is slow, retry with the same operation key; the steward should see the original result. A changed event revision or a request outside the actor’s organization must stop before another line or admission time is written. The Reconciliation Lead can later compare admitted quantities with verified provider captures while the original admission history stays intact.
