All questions
How do I get started?

Click Get started, then use Proto to configure CRM for Law Firms for your business. Start with one firm organization, a client account, an assigned opportunity and a submitted intake to rehearse the decision path.

Who owns a prospective engagement?

A Relationship Owner is named on the opportunity. The owner keeps the prospect status, expected close date and related activities current.

How is a client account different from an opportunity?

The account identifies the prospective or existing client. An opportunity records a particular prospective engagement with its own subject, owner and outcome.

Where does conflict clearance appear?

The linked matter intake carries the named conflict reviewer and the submitted, approved or rejected state. Agree who records the decision before the first live intake.

How does an independent review work?

A review decision points to the opportunity revision under consideration and records the reviewer, decision date and reason.

Can the same client have another prospective matter?

Yes. Create another opportunity linked to the existing account so each engagement keeps its own activities, intake and decision trail.

What happens when an action fails?

Open its operation receipt and parent opportunity. The result state and failure reason help the responsible manager investigate the attempt.

How are files shared?

An attachment belongs to the opportunity and carries Internal or Shared visibility. Set the intended audience before using a file in a handoff.

Which reports should a manager read first?

Start with open pipeline by owner, submitted intake outcomes and operation exceptions. Open the underlying records before making an engagement decision.
