Prepare the next cycle with Proto

Ask Proto to prepare nurture work and explain outcomes while keeping the manager\u2019s decisions with the manager.

It can

  • Marketing Operations' assistant: Inspect the audience conditions and both branch destinations, then prepare the member case to rehearse.
  • Marketing Manager: Prepare the content and program review with the message version, goal and prior decision context.
  • Sales Manager: Explain a lead's score from the permitted contribution trail and source activity before follow-up.
  • Marketing Systems Admin: Compare the opt-out request with the connected sending service's response and prepare the access review.

Stays with a person

  • Proto works through the authorized actor's permissions.
  • Marketing Manager makes the content and program decisions.
  • The team provides the real source identity and reviews unknown contact details.
  • Proto must preserve global suppression and keep each execution result attached to its member.

Implementation

Roll out one team at a time

Start with one team and one process, then add the rest once the basics are running.

  1. Agree the first journey

Marketing Manager chooses the goal and scoring policy. Marketing Operations defines the audience, sequence and exits. Agree where qualification continues in the connected CRM.

  2. Map identity and access

Match known lead identifiers and preserve unknown contact details as blanks. Map staff identities to permission roles, then test editing, review and own-lead access with the operating accounts.

  3. Prepare the records

Load goals, lists, scoring policy and reusable content before the program and its criteria and steps. Load suppression evidence before enrollment or sending. Check the content version and both branch destinations.

  4. Rehearse the decisions

Follow template and program review through Marketing Manager’s approval. Inspect the deciding person and time, then verify the approved journey before activation.

  5. Inspect the operating cycle

Test eligible and ineligible entry, capacity, a capped rule, a goal achievement and an opt-out. Follow each member through its cursor and action history. Reconcile the derived program summaries.

FAQ

Questions, answered

Scope, rollout and pricing for CRM + Marketing Automation.

All questions
How do I get started?

Click Get started, then use Proto to configure CRM + Marketing Automation for your business. Pilot a known lead list, a nurture journey, reviewed email content and an agreed goal. Include a nonmatching lead and a suppressed lead in the rehearsal, then inspect the connected sending and qualification results before expanding.

What does the program owner decide?

Marketing Manager agrees the goal and scoring policy. Marketing Operations turns them into audience criteria, ordered actions and exit rules. Review the actual lead segment and branch destinations together before submitting the journey for approval.

Who approves email content and programs?

Marketing Manager decides through the content and program review lifecycles. Each approval keeps the deciding user and time with the record. Marketing Operations checks the approved journey before activation.

How do we review the message used by a program?

Follow the email action's template reference to its reviewed content version. Check the subject, sender, reply route, message body and postal address during the rehearsal. Compare the render with the approved content and inspect the sending result for the same member.

How does a lead qualify for enrollment?

Every audience condition must match for an active program. The capacity setting can produce a queued enrollment. Marketing Operations reviews the combined conditions and member state, with global suppression checked before further nurture.

Can we explain the lead score?

The contribution trail retains the points, running score, reason, rule and related activity. Marketing Manager agrees the matching policy and rule-fire caps; Marketing Operations inspects the evidence before sales qualification is reviewed.

How does the sales handoff work?

Connect crm-leads during setup for the profile feed and qualification writeback. Reconcile its acknowledgement to the same lead and check the owner who will follow up. Sales Manager and Sales Rep can then use the permitted marketing context for the conversation.

Can a suppressed lead re-enter a program?

A recorded global suppression blocks program email and re-entry even when the program permits another enrollment. Keep the request context and sending-service confirmation available for review. Continued list membership does not override that restriction.

What does the team need to agree about access?

Map each person's job to the configured permission role, then test the editing, decision and investigation actions with real accounts. Sales Rep's access must follow the agreed own-lead boundary. Review changes with Marketing Manager when responsibilities move.

What happens when a member finishes the journey?

An achieved goal exits the member with the achieved outcome and exit date. Another matching exit retains its reason, such as suppression or audience drift. A sequence that finishes without a goal or another exit is completed. Keep these results separate when reviewing the program.
