ERP for Logistics runs the operating handoffs from customer freight intake through planned trips, delivery evidence and charge preparation. Dispatcher captures freight orders with the customer lane, weight and promised date; the capture workflow raises a Requested trip for that lane.

Click Get started, then use Proto to configure ERP for Logistics for your business. Begin with a customer lane, the planning team and a reviewer who can inspect delivery proof. Add a charge-posting rehearsal and a warehouse transfer when their access and reference records are ready.
Dispatcher records the customer lane, weight and promised date. The capture action raises a Requested trip for that customer lane. Identify the actual result before assigning resources, particularly when the customer has repeated orders on the same route.
Dispatcher approves the Requested trip through the dispatch action, which commits Scheduled. Transport Manager prepares the vehicle, driver and planned window before that handoff.
Transport Manager selects the fleet vehicle and staff member on the trip. Check vehicle status, compatible weight and capacity units, and the planned window before dispatch. Map the driver identity to the correct platform user during setup.
Transport Reviewer inspects the recipient and proof evidence and confirms eligible delivery evidence through the delivery action. The linked trip completes as part of that handoff. Uploading proof alone does not replace the review decision.
Use the disputed-delivery queue to investigate the trip association, recipient details and proof. Agree the correction and review path before confirmation so the outcome remains understandable to the operating and finance teams.
Freight charges belong to freight orders and can be Linehaul, Fuel or Accessorial. Trip charges belong to trips and move through preparation, approval and posting. Agree how their commercial scope relates before combining amounts.
Posting hands an approved trip charge to the invoicing process. Configure the accounting connection separately and inspect its result. An invoice reference identifies billing context; it does not establish a cash receipt.
An approved transfer creates linked outbound and inbound movement records for the same item and quantity at the source and destination warehouses. Inspect the complete pair before accepting the warehouse handoff.
Configure a chosen route-planning service separately if the team needs optimization. Agree how its output becomes the trip and stop plan, and keep resource assignment and dispatch approval with the responsible people.
Start free, then use Proto to change fields, steps and approvals before your team goes live.
