ERP for Paper & Pulp · Available now

Run the order, stock and cash cycle from one set of records.

ERP for Paper & Pulp runs the trading cycle for a distributor: maintain customer terms and product units, issue quotes, accept sales orders, buy stock, receive it into warehouses, reserve it, deliver it, invoice eligible quantities and apply actual cash. A seller can use the product and lot records for its paper or pulp items while keeping the order, stock and financial evidence tied to the same legal entity.

Prepare the next step with Proto

Ask Proto to help prepare records and surface decisions for the responsible team.

It can

  • Sales Representative: Prepare a quote using the customer's active terms and product units, then show the amount needing review.
  • Purchasing Manager: Compare a proposed purchase with the source requisition, remaining need and approval basis.
  • Warehouse Manager: Show available, held and in-transit quantities before a pick or transfer decision.
  • Accountant: Trace an open invoice to its delivery allocation and unapplied customer cash.

Stays with a person

  • Proto can prepare a record, explain a source link and point to an exception.
  • The named person still reviews commercial, stock and financial decisions.
  • External bank or delivery outcomes require actual source evidence.
  • Access follows each user's entity and role scope.

Implementation

Roll out one team at a time

Start with one team and one process, then add the rest once the basics are running.

  1. Confirm ownership

Choose the legal entity, warehouses, operating roles and independent decision owners.

  2. Prepare masters

Review products, units, customers, suppliers, prices, terms, tax and account mappings before use.

  3. Reconcile opening balances

Load stock positions and financial openings at one cutoff, preserving source identities and values.

  4. Run a pilot order

Quote, approve, reserve, buy where needed, receive, pick, deliver, invoice and apply actual cash.

  5. Review exceptions

Rehearse a partial receipt, partial delivery, return, rejected payment and count variance with the responsible people.

FAQ

Questions, answered

Scope, rollout and pricing for Paper & Pulp ERP.

All questions
How do I get started?

Click Get started, then use Proto to configure ERP for Paper & Pulp for your business. Begin with one entity, one warehouse, active products and customers, then rehearse an order through delivery, invoice and cash application.

Can I handle repeat customer orders?

Yes. Keep the customer, contacts, terms and price list current, then prepare a new quote or order with its own accepted quantity and promise.

How are partial deliveries handled?

Shipment lines and delivery results retain the actual portion sent and accepted. The remaining order scope stays visible for later work.

Who approves a customer order?

Sales Manager reviews the accepted order revision and its credit result independently of the preparer.

Can purchasing follow a customer need?

A requisition line can reference a customer order line, and the resulting purchase retains its warehouse and required supply scope.

When does an arrival become available stock?

Warehouse Operator records the arrival; accepted quantity follows a separate receipt review before it becomes usable inventory.

Can stock move between warehouses?

Yes. A reviewed transfer records actual dispatch, partial receipt and any remaining quantity in transit.

How do we handle a failed delivery?

Record the actual attempt and outcome by shipment line. Warehouse Manager follows the exception and any later return or delivery work.

How do invoices and cash connect?

Invoices follow eligible order and delivery allocations. A cash receipt retains its unapplied balance until Accountant applies it to an open invoice.

What should finance check before closing a period?

Reconcile bank, receivables, payables, stock and other source balances for the entity at the chosen cutoff, then have Finance Manager review the close decision.
