AI agent

Give every role a useful assistant

Ask Proto to prepare lending records and surface evidence for the person who decides.

It can

  • Credit Officer: Prepare an application from confirmed borrower details, show its current revision and collect the supporting attachments for review.
  • Independent Credit Approver: Present the submitted revision, decision history and relevant evidence before the approver records a reasoned decision.
  • Independent Credit Approver: Compare a provider receipt's amount, date and account with a confirmed instruction and show the source record when values differ.
  • Auditor: Trace an application through its decision, provider event and operation receipt without changing the record.

Stays with a person

  • Proto can organize the case and explain the recorded differences.
  • The Independent Credit Approver still makes the credit decision.
  • Provider confirmation comes from the provider event, and a disputed effect must be checked against persisted records before completion.
  • The organization determines who may act in each scope.

Implementation

Roll out one team at a time

Start with one team and one process, then add the rest once the basics are running.

  1. Establish parties

Set the operating organization, active team members, borrowers and known loan accounts. Confirm provider account identities and currency conventions.

  2. Configure decisions

Assign Credit Officer and Independent Credit Approver access. Agree the application and commitment evidence required for a review, and rehearse a return and a rejection.

  3. Connect provider evidence

Map instruction references, confirmation events, repayment receipts and dated account snapshots. Decide how repeated events and late responses are identified.

  4. Rehearse a full case

Prepare and approve an application, submit it once, verify provider confirmation, connect its disbursement, and compare a receipt with the account and confirmed instruction.

  5. Review exceptions

Try a changed revision, self-approval, repeated provider event, mismatched repayment date and missing local effect. Keep each unresolved item visible to the right reviewer.

All questions
How do I get started?

Click Get started, then use Proto to configure p2 P Lending Platform for your business. Pilot one organization, a borrower with a known loan account, one independent reviewer and a representative provider response before expanding the operating scope.

Who prepares a loan application?

Credit Officer records the borrower, owner, requested amount and supporting documents, then sends the current revision for review.

Who decides whether an application is approved?

Independent Credit Approver makes a reasoned decision on the submitted revision. The preparer cannot approve their own work.

How are lender commitments tracked?

A funding commitment links a lender reference and initial deposit amount to an application and organization. It has its own submission and decision state, followed by provider authority for completion.

Does approval mean the provider has confirmed the loan?

An authorized application is ready for provider submission. The team checks the provider's confirmation or settlement evidence before marking the application confirmed.

How are disbursements connected to accounts?

Each disbursement links its amount and direction to the application instruction and a borrower-owned loan account.

How are repayments matched?

The reviewer compares the provider receipt with a confirmed application on the same account. The amount and occurrence date must match exactly.

What happens to a repayment that differs?

Its source event remains available in an unmatched or exception state for investigation. The team can compare the account snapshot, instruction and provider evidence before resolving it.

How do we avoid repeating a provider action?

An operation receipt retains a stable key, expected revision and effect references. The team checks the existing result before retrying or completing an action.

Can an auditor change decisions?

Auditor access is read-only for assigned records and reports. Decision and execution authority stays with the operational roles.
