Stock Trading Platform · Available now

Every instruction reviewed, every execution reconciled.

Stock Trading Platform runs a trading desk's work from instruction to confirmed execution. A trader prepares an instruction for an eligible counterparty with the requested amount and instrument; an independent reviewer approves, rejects or returns it; and only an authorized instruction is submitted to its provider.

  • No per-user fees

Prepare the review queue with Proto

Prepare and review instructions, fills and exceptions with Proto.

It can

  • Trader: List my instructions still open at the provider with their counterparty and amount.
  • Independent Reviewer: Show instructions in review over US$1 million with their attachments.
  • Operations Analyst: List unverified evidence lines older than one hour and failed operation receipts with their reasons.
  • Desk Manager: Show working orders by account with filled and remaining quantity.

Stays with a person

  • Independent reviewers approve instructions and execution receipts, and traders submit to providers.
  • Proto prepares lists and drafts for them; it does not approve, submit or verify on its own, and it works with the permissions of the person or service account it runs as.

Implementation

Roll out one team at a time

Start with one team and one process, then add the rest once the basics are running.

  1. Agree the operating boundary

The system holds instructions, review decisions, orders, executions, evidence, receipts and position snapshots. Order routing, custody, market data and accounting stay in connected systems. The desk decides eligibility, review scope and tolerances.

  2. Map the source data

Agree organizations, counterparties, account and instrument identifiers, and the provider IDs for orders, executions and events.

  3. Configure a bounded pilot

Run one desk for a month: instructions, review, submission, orders, evidence and receipts.

  4. Rehearse the exceptions

A stale-revision decision is refused, an inactive counterparty is refused, a duplicate execution is ignored, an overfill is rejected and a self-approval is refused.

  5. Reconcile and release

Compare open instructions, fills and positions with the old system and providers, get sign-off from the desk manager and agree the rollback window before cut-over.

All questions
How do I get started?

Click Get started, then use Proto to configure Stock Trading Platform for your business. Start with one desk's counterparties, accounts, instruments and open instructions, and run a month of trading live before adding further desks.

Does it route orders to the market?

Orders and instructions are submitted through your approved broker and provider connections. The system records what was sent and reconciles what comes back.

How is review enforced?

An independent reviewer records approve, reject or return on the instruction's current revision. A decision on an older revision is refused, and nobody can approve their own instruction or execution receipt.

What stops a fill being counted twice?

Each broker execution and provider event is taken once by its provider ID. A repeat is recognised and ignored, and an execution that would overfill the order is rejected.

When is an instruction confirmed?

Only when verified evidence lines cover what was instructed. Unverified or rejected lines never confirm it.

What happens if a submission times out?

The step leaves an operation receipt. Retrying with the same input returns the original result, and the reconciliation pass completes it once the provider's reference matches.

Does it include charts and watchlists?

Prices, charts and watchlists come from your market data tools. Position snapshots carry the custodian's mark price and market value by date.

Can we run several entities?

Yes. Each organization has its own counterparties, currency and staff, and instructions must stay within their organization.

What drives the cost?

Ordinary manual use has no per-user charge under the platform policy. Imports, integrations, agent execution and other machine work use prepaid credits; implementation is scoped separately. The pricing page lists current rates.
