Implementation

Roll out one team at a time

Start with one team and one process, then add the rest once the basics are running.

  1. Prepare records

Agree organizations, fiscal periods, GL accounts, counterparties, remitters and team ownership.

  2. Load a pilot

Enter open payment requests and receivable invoices with their line detail and source documents.

  3. Rehearse decisions

    Run a pending-request approval, a scheduled-payment release and a draft-invoice send. Inspect each result.

  4. Check cash

Follow a released payment to its bank reference and compare an inbound receipt with its invoice balance.

  5. Expand carefully

Review the pilot evidence with the responsible roles before adding more transaction volume.

Scope, rollout and pricing for Treasury Management.

All questions
How do I get started?

Click Get started, then use Proto to configure Treasury Management for your business. Start with one organization, its counterparties and remitters, and a small cycle of open payment requests and receivable invoices.

What does the approval action record?

For a pending payment request, it guards the move to Approved and records a review decision plus an operation receipt.

Can I follow a payment after release?

Yes. The payment register shows the amount, method, bank reference and status. The waiting list highlights Released payments for bank follow-up.

How are incoming payments related to invoices?

An inbound payment can link to a receivable invoice. Compare the linked amount with the invoice balance and due date.

Where do supplier details live?

Counterparties hold payee terms, contact and remit-to details. Payment requests link to the relevant counterparty.

Can I inspect failed actions?

Operation receipts retain the operation type, actor, time and result, including Failed or Partial.

How are accounting periods used?

Payment requests and journal entries can reference a fiscal period. The period calendar shows its start, end and status.

Where are documents kept?

Record attachments can point to the parent business record and retain a file URL, kind, upload time and uploader.

How do I check journal balance?

Journal entries show rolled-up debit and credit totals and an out-of-balance indicator. Open the entry to examine its lines.

What should we decide before launch?

Name the people who approve requests and release payments, define the bank evidence source, and rehearse one normal and one failed case.
