Prepare the next shift with Proto

Ask Proto to prepare booking work and explain ride evidence within your team's authority.

It can

  • Booking Coordinator: Show my held bookings and help compare the requested intervals with the selected resources and their reservation lines.
  • Fleet Technician: List active scooters needing maintenance attention and show their current dock locations and battery observations.
  • Booking Supervisor: Prepare a review of submitted ride evidence, highlighting the vehicle references and any mismatch between the actual interval and provider events.
  • Auditor: Trace a booking from its review decisions to operation receipts and verified provider payment events, keeping event types separate.

Stays with a person

  • The assistant cannot supply a physical device event or decide that an unverified provider payment occurred.
  • Booking Supervisor makes the independent approval decision.
  • Staff supply and check the evidence required by their operating policy, and every action remains subject to the person's authority and current record revision.
  • Prepare access and evidence connections through Implementation before using assisted actions in daily operations.

Implementation

Roll out one team at a time

Start with one team and one process, then add the rest once the basics are running.

  1. Agree operating scope

Choose the first organization, dock area and vehicle types. Record the time zone, stable resource codes and people responsible for booking preparation, maintenance and independent review.

  2. Prepare the fleet

Load active resources with current availability, maintenance condition, battery observations and dock location. Have Fleet Technician inspect the records the booking team will use during the pilot.

  3. Define booking rules

Agree entitlement checks, consent, deposit evidence, hold expiration and cancellation timing. Rehearse overlapping intervals with setup and cleanup included.

  4. Connect the evidence

Arrange the device and payment providers. Check event identity, actual times and the booking references used by the receiving process. Define how staff follow up on missing or repeated events.

  5. Rehearse service and review

Run a confirmed ride through actual start, return evidence, submission and independent decision. Include a returned submission and an attempted stale approval before completing the accepted revision.

FAQ

Questions, answered

Scope, rollout and pricing for Bike/Scooter Sharing Platform.

All questions
How do I get started?

Click Get started, then use Proto to configure Bike/Scooter Sharing Platform for your business. Begin with a bounded dock area, the vehicles your team can inspect and a coordinator-supervisor pair that can rehearse a complete ride and an exception.

Which resources can we manage?

Use Bike, E-bike, Scooter and Dock resources. Record their operating organization and stable code, then keep availability, maintenance status and current dock location useful to the staff assigning rides.

How does a hold differ from a confirmed booking?

A Held booking reserves an eligible interval under your expiration rule. Confirmation follows the required consent and deposit checks. Include setup and cleanup time when deciding whether the interval can be reserved.

How do device events reach the ride?

Arrange the connection to your vehicle device provider. Keep the actual release and return event references and times with the ride so Booking Supervisor can check the physical service evidence.

Who reviews a submitted ride?

Booking Supervisor independently approves, rejects or returns the submitted revision and records a reason. The coordinator who prepared the ride cannot provide its independent approval.

What happens when ride evidence needs correction?

The supervisor records Return with a specific reason. Booking Coordinator corrects the evidence and prepares a fresh submission. Preserve the earlier decision and check the current revision before another review.

Does the quoted amount show collected payment?

Read verified provider payment events to establish the payment evidence. Keep the booking quote and recorded ride fare available as context, and distinguish authorization, capture, refund and void events.

How do we handle a cancelled reservation?

Apply your cancellation rule to the current booking and actual timing. Release eligible unexecuted capacity with a traceable operation receipt. Retain completed service and provider payment evidence when investigating later changes.

What if completion is uncertain?

Booking Supervisor compares the operation receipt with the expected local effects. Record completion only when they match; keep the operation in need of review with its discrepancy recorded when they do not. Follow Reconciliation and payment.

What should we prepare before rollout?

Gather vehicle codes, condition and dock locations, team membership, operating policies and device or payment-provider access. Use Implementation to rehearse reservation conflicts, independent review and repeated provider events.
