Help for your operating team

Ask for help preparing loads, checking review queues and tracing operation evidence.

It can

  • Dispatcher: Find my assigned loads, compare their promised times with pickup observations and prepare a summary of duty intervals waiting for review.
  • Transport Supervisor: Gather the submitted interval, source evidence and matching load revision so I can make the independent decision.
  • App Administrator: Identify roster entries whose eligibility dates need attention and list vehicle references that the team should check before the pilot.
  • Auditor: Trace the original operation receipt, reviewer reason and compensating evidence for a selected load within my access scope.

Stays with a person

  • The agent needs an authorized person to make an independent transport approval.
  • It cannot establish a physical pickup or repair from an unexplained label.
  • The responsible team supplies observed evidence, confirms the source identity and decides how a disputed external result should be handled.
  • Keep requests tied to a recognizable load and operating scope.

Implementation

Roll out one team at a time

Start with one team and one process, then add the rest once the basics are running.

  1. Agree the first movement

Select a representative load, its operating organization and original delivery promise. Name Dispatcher and the independent Transport Supervisor who will handle the pilot.

  2. Prepare operating references

App Administrator checks membership, partner contacts, driver eligibility and vehicle identity. Confirm the time zone used to interpret source observations.

  3. Rehearse planning and movement

Enter assignment windows, examine overlaps and inspect defect evidence. Record the physical pickup and follow the dispatch receipt while preserving the promised delivery time.

  4. Rehearse duty review

Submit an interval with recognizable source evidence. Test approval and a returned submission with separate people. Confirm that the completed interval can be traced to the saved import receipt.

  5. Close and investigate

Record delivery evidence, compare actual delivery with the promise and investigate a failed operation. Ask Auditor to explain the original attempt and any authorized correction from the retained records.

All questions
How do I get started?

Click Get started, then use Proto to configure ELD / Hours of Service for your business. Start with a representative load, its driver and vehicle assignment, and a duty interval that an independent Transport Supervisor can review.

What information belongs on a duty interval?

Dispatcher records the driver, duty state, start time and duration against the selected load and operating organization. Keep the provider identity in the linked evidence so the activity can be traced during review.

Who approves imported activity?

An independent Transport Supervisor checks the submitted revision and records the decision and reason. Dispatcher prepares the activity and follows the approved import through to its receipt.

When is an interval complete?

The interval reaches Completed after the import receipt is persisted and its effects are verified. The review decision and the operation outcome remain separate parts of the handoff.

How do we check driver availability?

Compare the proposed assignment start and end with existing driver and vehicle commitments. Check the driver's active state and eligibility date for the intended work period before release.

How do vehicle defects affect planning?

Dispatcher examines the selected vehicle's readiness and defect evidence before confirming the assignment. Agree who maintains the readiness record and how Transport Supervisor handles a disputed repair or release time.

Can we compare promised and actual delivery?

Yes. Retain the original promised delivery time and record observed delivery separately. Review supporting stop evidence when arrival and final handover describe different moments.

What happens after a failed operation?

Transport Supervisor compares the existing receipt and linked effects with the authoritative source. Unresolved discrepancies remain visible for review. A correction or cancellation needs its own authorized scope and retained evidence.

What should we agree with the logging provider?

Agree driver matching, duty state interpretation, timestamps and the identity used to trace each source record. Rehearse a duplicate request and a delayed response during Implementation.
