Last-mile Delivery Platform · Available now

Keep each load and handoff accountable.

Last-mile Delivery Platform keeps a load's promise, owner, transport partner, assigned driver and vehicle, ordered stops, and delivery evidence in connected records. A dispatcher reviews the promised delivery time and stop windows, checks driver eligibility and vehicle readiness, then commits an assignment interval.

  • Warehouse Handoff Reviewer: Prepare submitted delivery stops with recipient, package count and proof for a human decision.

Stays with a person

  • Proto can prepare information and propose actions.

Implementation

Roll out one team at a time

Start with one team and one process, then add the rest once the basics are running.

  1. Define scope

Choose an operating organization, a delivery area, a transport partner and the team that will own the pilot. Agree what qualifies as a planned or dispatched load.

  2. Prepare records

Bring in team membership, partner contacts, drivers, vehicles and defects. Check eligibility dates, readiness labels and time zones.

  3. Model work

Enter representative loads, stop sequence and appointment windows. Assign a driver and vehicle across a committed interval.

  4. Rehearse proof

Record arrival and departure at the earliest visit, submit a custody handoff, obtain a human decision and complete a delivery stop with proof.

  5. Rehearse recovery

Test a rejected handoff, a late delivery, a vehicle defect, a load exception and a failed operation receipt. Record who makes each correction.

FAQ

Scope, rollout and pricing for Last-mile Delivery Platform.

All questions
How do I get started?

Click Get started, then use Proto to configure Last-mile Delivery Platform for your business. Pilot one operating organization, one partner, a known driver and vehicle, and a load with pickup and delivery windows. Rehearse proof and exception review before expanding.

What is a load?

A load records the owner, operating organization, transport partner, promised delivery time, freight amount and lifecycle. Its assignments and stops describe who will move it and where it should go.

How is a driver assigned?

Dispatcher links a driver and vehicle to a load for a start and end interval. Check driver eligibility, vehicle readiness and other commitments before confirming and dispatching the assignment.

Where do appointment windows live?

Ordered load stops hold each address, visit sequence, window and actual arrival and departure. The load holds the overall promised delivery time.

What counts as delivery proof?

A completed delivery stop holds a handover time and at least one proof reference, signature file or delivery photo. The reviewer can inspect recipient and package details before accepting custody.

Who approves a handoff?

Warehouse Handoff Reviewer makes the human decision on a submitted delivery stop and records its decision time. A rejected stop can be corrected and resubmitted.

How are exceptions handled?

Operations Reviewer inspects the load, evidence and source revision and records a Return decision with a reason. The load stays in Exception while Dispatcher handles the operational correction.

What happens when an operation fails?

A failed or needs-review receipt retains the operation key, expected revision and failure context. Operations Reviewer checks linked effects and the authoritative source before deciding the next action.

Can I send customer notifications?

Set up a messaging connection and decide which delivery events should trigger it. Keep the underlying load and handover records available for support review.

How do I review access?

Use the roles page to assign planning, driving, fleet and review responsibility. Rehearse a permitted task and a denied task for each role before release.
