Demand Planning Manager
Owns the function and the S&OP cycle. The named approver on Promotions, NPIs, SOPCycle stage transitions, and the final publish. Reviews ConsensusContributions and signs off on ConsensusPlans before they roll into the Reconcile meeting.
Demand Planner
Operational role — runs StatisticalForecasts, manages HistoricalAdjustments, investigates Exceptions, prepares the Forecasts for Demand Planning Manager review. Owns the day-to-day forecast quality.
Sales Rep
Contributes to ConsensusContributions for own Region / Channel. Sees Forecasts only for the PlanningEntities where AssignedSalesRep = self. Logs Justification when proposing a move from the AdjustedForecast.
Marketing Manager
Contributes Promotions and NPIs. Reviews PromotionUplift after calc to verify Marketing's expected lift matches the model's math. Sits in DemandReview as ContributorMarketing.
Operations Lead
Consumes the published plan in the Supply Review meeting and weighs in on capacity-constrained Items via ConsensusContributions of Source: CapacityConstraint. Reads the Final plan and the SafetyStockTargets that fall out of it.
Executive
Read-only S&OP review. Sees the Cycle Pack at the Executive S&OP meeting and signs off (via SOPDecisions of DecisionType: ApprovePlan) before the cycle Publishes.
Reports and dashboards
Explore what each report measures and the records behind it.
Forecast Accuracy
MAPE, WAPE, and Bias per PlanningEntity rolled to Item × Region × Channel and to total, trailing-3 / trailing-6 / trailing-12 month windows. Highlights the systematic over- or under-forecasting patterns and the models ready for reselection. The Demand Planner's daily landing report.
Plan vs Actual Variance
Per-Period FinalForecast vs. ActualQuantity rolled to Item × Region × Channel × Period, with absolute and percent variance and the rolling cumulative bias. The Pre-S&OP / Reconcile meeting pack.
Promotion Performance
Per-Promotion: AppliedUpliftPct, realized uplift (post-period Actuals vs. counterfactual baseline), attainment %, and InvestmentUSD efficiency. Drives Marketing's promo-effectiveness review.
NPI Ramp Attainment
Per-NPI: planned ramp curve vs. realized curve, peak attainment %, time-to-peak variance, cannibalization realized vs. expected. Feeds the post-launch retro.
Forecast Bias by Contributor
ConsensusContributions by Contributor: count submitted, accepted, rejected, and the realized bias (post-period Actuals vs. ContributorAmount). Surfaces systematic over-optimism per Sales Rep / Marketing manager and tunes the consensus weighting.
S&OP Cycle Pack
Per-Cycle financial / operational rollup: Total FinalForecast quantity and revenue, delta vs. prior cycle Final, delta vs. fin-budgeting Revenue Targets, top movers, top exceptions, top decisions. The board / executive read-out.
Forecast Value Add (FVA)
Compares MAPE of BaselineForecast (statistical only) against MAPE of ConsensusForecast (after Sales / Marketing input) and FinalForecast (after Exec sign-off). Negative FVA = the human override made the forecast worse. The diagnostic that keeps the consensus process honest.
Driver Sensitivity
For each RegressionWithDrivers ForecastModel, the coefficient, significance, and the per-Item elasticity to each driver (Price, Weather, MarketingSpend, Macro). Tunes which drivers to keep loaded and where to look when actuals miss.
One connected workspace
MAPE, WAPE, and Bias per PlanningEntity rolled to Item × Region × Channel and to total, trailing-3 / trailing-6 / trailing-12 month windows. Highlights the systematic over- or under-forecasting patterns and the models ready for reselection. The Demand Planner's daily landing report.

System checks
history-load-from-erp — scheduleTrigger weekly Monday 02:00 → refreshes HistoricalSales.
statistical-forecast-run — scheduleTrigger weekly Tuesday 04:00 → refreshes Forecasts.BaselineForecast + ForecastModelRuns log.
forecast-error-tracking — scheduleTrigger monthly business-day-1 → refreshes MAPE / WAPE / Bias series and flags models below accuracy.
promotion-uplift-calc — appEventTrigger on Promotions (Status: Approved) → writes AdjustedForecast + PromotionUplift audit lines.
npi-curve-application — appEventTrigger on NPIs (Status: Approved) → writes AdjustedForecast for launch periods.
consensus-plan-collaboration-routing — appEventTrigger on ConsensusPlans → walks Stage Draft → MarketingReview → SalesReview → OpsReview → Reconciled, emails contributors, advances on completion or SLA.
sop-cycle-launch — scheduleTrigger monthly business-day-2 → opens SOPCycle, snapshots V1-Statistical, schedules four meetings.
final-plan-publish-to-supply — appEventTrigger on SOPCycles (Status: Published) → freezes FinalForecast, snapshots V4-FinalApproved, recomputes SafetyStockTargets, pushes plan outbound to scm-inventory, scm-procurement, manufacturing-erp, fin-budgeting.
exception-flag — appEventTrigger on Forecasts → writes Exceptions on large variance / trend break / accuracy drift.
seasonality-recompute — scheduleTrigger quarterly business-day-1 of each quarter → refreshes SeasonalityProfiles for entities with 24+ months of history. Integrations: inbound from ERP (HistoricalSales), scm-inventory (current on-hand for consensus context), CRM (large-deal opportunity feed surfaces spike candidates), Marketing platforms (planned promo calendar), an external weather / macro driver feed (DriverData), PIM / NPI process (new Item triggers NPI intake), and fin-budgeting (locked Revenue Targets used as a sanity gate, US dollars). Outbound to scm-inventory (SafetyStockTargets per Item × Location), scm-procurement (FinalForecast as PO-recommendation input), manufacturing-erp (FinalForecast as MRP input), fin-budgeting (FinalForecast as Revenue line input for the next BudgetCycle), BI tools (Forecasts, ForecastModelRuns, ForecastVersions datasets), the document store (S&OP cycle packets), and email (consensus contribution requests, exception alerts, cycle-launch notifications, plan-publication notifications).
