Implementation

Roll out one team at a time

Start with one team and one process, then add the rest once the basics are running.

  1. Agree the operating boundary

The scope is purchase demand, approval, commitments, accepted receipts, fill rate snapshots and supplier performance. ERP purchasing, warehouse receiving, supplier portals and inventory remain connected. Your team decides targets and approval limits; Proto prepares configuration for review.

  2. Map the source data

Bring suppliers, open requests with lines, accepted quantities and prior fill rate history.

  3. Configure a bounded pilot

Pilot your top suppliers for one month. Approve, issue and receive through the app and lock month-end snapshots.

  4. Rehearse the exceptions

Return a request and approve the revised version. Record a short delivery and refuse an over-delivery. Submit an impossible snapshot. Cancel unexecuted scope.

  5. Reconcile and release

Compare open quantities, commitment and fill rates with the source. Obtain the procurement lead’s acceptance before adding suppliers.

FAQ

Questions, answered

Scope, rollout and pricing for Supply Chain Analytics.

All questions
How do I get started?

Click Get started, then use Proto to configure Supply Chain Analytics for your business. Pilot your top suppliers for one month: approve, issue and receive through the app, lock month-end snapshots and reconcile open quantities before adding suppliers.

How is fill rate measured?

Line fill compares accepted with requested quantity. Official fill rates come from snapshots by scope and date, locked after approval.

How is on-time delivery measured?

The time a line was accepted is compared with the request's required-by date.

Who approves purchase demand?

A Procurement Approver independent of the buyer approves, returns or rejects the submitted version.

What if a supplier ships too much?

Over-receipt is refused unless it is explicitly authorized.

Does it track inventory turns?

Inventory levels and turns stay in your inventory system, connected through an agreed integration.

Can figures change after a review?

Locked snapshots keep their figures. Later deliveries show in the next period.

What drives the cost?

Ordinary manual use has no per-user charge under the platform policy. Imports, integrations, agent execution and other machine work consume prepaid credits; implementation is scoped separately. The pricing page lists the current rates.
