AI assistants and API

Help teams prepare stock work and investigate exceptions.

An inventory assistant can explain a shortage, prepare replenishment follow-up or collect the evidence behind a count difference. The specification describes these uses; the actual application actions and integrations must be configured and verified before an assistant works with operational data.

Teaching an agent the system

curl -s erp.ai/skill.md

Start with the platform skill, then confirm the deployed application’s supported actions, records and service identity. The website’s model does not establish that a particular Inventory Management endpoint is already available.

These are illustrative work requests, not a published endpoint contract. Verify the configured actions and response handling during implementation.

Machine requests, managed executions and model usage are metered under the pricing rules. Ordinary manual work in the official interface is free. Assign restricted service identities, review proposed work and inspect usage receipts as responsibilities grow.

Agent setup guideRoles and permissions
# Example work after configuration $ curl -s erp.ai/skill.md | paste into your agent › Explain why this product is unavailable in my warehouse. › Prepare receipt work from the external delivery reference. › Show the unresolved quantity and evidence for this transfer. › Compare the first count with the accepted recount. › Find stock whose expiry or hold prevents an issue. › Prepare a replenishment follow-up using the current policy. › Reconcile the closing inventory value with accepted accounting exports.

What an agent typically does here

Inventory Manager's assistant

Explains quantity and value differences, traces unresolved transit and prepares the source evidence for review. Distinguishes a first count from an accepted recount and a closing snapshot from accounting acceptance.

What it cannot do alone

An assistant cannot bypass a required human review, a current count lock, a valid demand claim or actual physical evidence. It cannot turn an incoming order message into a dispatch, a warehouse label into ownership, or a provider acknowledgment into accounting acceptance. Eligible automatic corrections require the independently activated policy and every stated condition; they do not inherit invented human approval from the assistant.

Metering

Machine requests, managed executions and model usage are metered under the pricing rules. Ordinary manual work in the official interface is free. Assign restricted service identities, review proposed work and inspect usage receipts as responsibilities grow.
