An agent can assist the people who estimate, buy and run jobs when the application and its scoped interface have been configured and verified. These are proposed uses of the authored system; the examples below are not a published Job Shop API contract.

This is the platform skill entry point. The deployed application’s schema, permitted actions and operating rules still need to be supplied and checked. Give each agent its own scoped identity and only the access required for its assignment.

Prepare an estimate from the RFQ, reviewed drawing and applicable routing. Surface quantity alternatives, outside-service assumptions and differences from previous comparable jobs for the estimator to assess.
acts as Estimator
Organize submitted tickets and flag missing clock-off, overlapping labor or quantities needing investigation. Keep proposed corrections separate from the supervisor's decision.
Turn shortages into purchase drafts and organize outstanding outside dispatches. Prepare a request for a supplier update; sending it requires the configured communication authority.
acts as Buyer
Collect inspection evidence, identify missing certificates and prepare an NCR draft. It can organize a proposed shipment pack while the inspector retains the required release decision.
acts as Quality Inspector
Compare a customer's PO with the accepted offer, prepare eligible billing and suggest cash matches. Differences in quantity, price or prior billing remain for review.
acts as Office Manager
An agent cannot turn preparation into a required human approval. Margin exceptions, controlled purchases, production release, ticket approval, quality decisions and job close follow their configured authority. Automatic policy paths must be explicitly defined; an agent role does not create a bypass. Access to a record does not permit changing a released traveler, spending reserved stock or rewriting a posted amount.
