Protect the economics of repeat work as materials, rates and delivery patterns change. Each release may use a familiar part number, but it still needs the right order authority, drawing revision and available capacity. The authored workflow preserves the individual job history while keeping recurring demand connected to the agreement.
Identify each customer release and its quantity, due date and reviewed price basis. Repeated import or conversion cannot create another job for the same release or increase the total customer order without an authorized change.
Start a new estimate from the applicable standard operations and material requirement. Review changes learned from previous work before activating the next routing; an updated master must not rewrite the traveler used by an existing job.
Keep the last comparable job's quantity and cost basis alongside the quote. Setup absorption, rate changes, remakes and late corrections need context before a previous unit cost becomes the assumption for a new offer.
Use resource calendars and the remaining operation sequence to assess the release schedule. A moved job creates a proposal the planner can review; material shortages, outside promises and inspection holds remain part of readiness.
Hold purchased material by heat and reserve it to the relevant jobs as work releases. Customer-supplied castings and usable remnants retain their customer identity, source evidence and separate value treatment.
Move allocated demand and applicable work history instead of duplicating the order. A remake supplies the recorded shortfall; the original job's cost and disposition remain available for margin and quality review.
The scope keeps accepted parts against their job and order allocation rather than promising a finished-goods warehouse. Agree how early production, customer call-offs and storage responsibilities will operate before launch, then reserve dispatch quantities so separate slips cannot consume the same pieces.

Operations, material requirements, drawing references and instructions become a released traveler snapshot. A quantity outside the reviewed offer needs a revised approved basis; choosing the closest quantity break is not enough.
