Prepare the approved pack

The bill of materials identifies one primary output and its component quantities. Routing describes the actual assembly and packing operations. Administrative, housekeeping and facility replenishment packs use reviewed instructions appropriate to their nonclinical purpose.

Scaling the output requirement retains each component’s base unit and approved fixed conversion. Packaging counts are not added to unlike material quantities. Planned loss follows its declared convention once rather than being added at several stages.

Assembly Manager prepares the job and another eligible actual manager independently approves release. The released basis freezes the BOM, routing, required inputs, checks, standards and feasible schedule. Later master edits do not rewrite existing work.

Issue the actual components

Materials staged near the assembly area remain inventory until actual issue. The authorized issue removes exact quantity and current carrying from inventory into exclusive work-in-progress, retaining original source and applicable tracking.

Assembly Operator records actual use, loss and unused material observations. Draft observations await their required acceptance and do not consume accepted source quantities by themselves. Confirmed use draws on the original issued remainder without issuing the inventory again.

Unused returns consume only the original issue’s physically remaining, unconsumed and unreserved quantity. They create a new inventory layer at that issue basis and credit the same WIP source, preserving condition and date restrictions.

Accept real work and time

Assembly Manager independently accepts actual component use and work evidence, excluding producers, recorders and material contributors. Time retains actual person, operation and interval with its frozen cost basis. Overlapping work cannot absorb the same person’s time twice.

Normal loss included in output cost needs a real bounded source allocation. Separately relieved scrap cannot also be included in finished-pack cost. Component, packaging and output measures reconcile on their compatible declared basis.

Assembly measureWhat it explains
Issued componentsSources transferred from inventory into the job
Accepted useQuantity actually consumed from those sources
Normal included lossAttributable cost retained in the output allocation
Separate scrapApproved cost relieved outside that output
Terminal completionDistinct finished packs physically completed

Confirm and value completed packs

Independent terminal confirmation binds exact physical output and attributable accepted WIP. Intermediate operation progress is useful for following work but is not another finished receipt. Actual work acceptance and terminal confirmation retain their separate decisions.

Output is valued at the frozen standard, with actual allocated WIP relieved once. Every nonzero difference requires independent Finance Manager approval. Assembly Manager executes only the fully approved completion, preserving its source quantities and final cost remainder.

Physically completed owned packs can enter valued held stock while required eligibility checks remain open. This keeps the accounting position visible without treating physical completion as approval for use.

Review the applicable condition

Quality Reviewer independently accepts required checks and decides exact population eligibility, excluding the relevant producer, receiver, observer and material criteria or packet preparers. Operators record independently gathered factual checks within scope.

Material checks bind actual populations. Nonmaterial area or process checks use the real work context without invented sampled goods. Each active restriction remains effective until its own approved resolution; a new pack or container does not reset original applicable component life.

Close quantities and costs separately

Assembly Manager independently closes the remaining quantity and work obligations. Finance Manager additionally approves required financial residuals. Close reconciles output, unused returns, loss, scrap and remaining WIP without repeating the completion variance.

Assembly Production and Cost explains those sources alongside Stock Availability and Restrictions. The assemble-supply-packs process follows the reviews, and department supplies follows the packs through actual use.

Assembly Production and Cost

Relate the frozen WorkOrders/BOMs/routing/output standard to accepted actual material use, compatible loss, time and attributable remaining WIP. Terminal ProductionCompletions alone contribute finished output, standard value and the signed actual-WIP difference. Intermediate operation progress and later eligibility release do not add another output. Included normal/packaging loss and separately relieved scrap retain mutually exclusive cost allocation; unused return consumes remaining original issue sources. Preserve per-ingredient units, accepted person/operation time and actual source cost. Report current held output, nonzero variance decisions and technical/financial close obligations without treating unknown cost as zero.
