How do I get started?

Can our team use handheld scanners?
The workflow is organized around task, bin, item and container confirmations. Test the actual handhelds, barcode formats and network conditions during rollout. Device compatibility and any disconnected working mode need explicit verification.
How does directed put-away work?
Configured rules propose a suitable location using item requirements, capacity and occupancy. The operator confirms the container and location. An alternative location needs a recorded reason and must pass the same compatibility and availability checks.
Who releases a picking wave?
The Warehouse Manager reviews the proposed work, shipping cutoffs and replenishment needs. A Shift Supervisor can release within a valid delegation. Stock reservations and planning ownership are checked before work becomes released pick tasks.
How are the cartons chosen?
Carton planning uses item quantities, dimensions, weights and the configured carton catalog. Planned contents stay linked to order lines. Packing verifies actual contents and weight; missing data or a mismatch needs resolution before labeling and shipping.
Which carriers can we connect?
Confirm the supported connector, account, service and required documents for each parcel or freight carrier. Adding catalog information is different from implementing another carrier connection. Test labels, uncertain responses, voids and handover evidence before rollout.
Does it support lots, serials and expiry dates?
The model carries controlled-stock identity through receiving evidence, current inventory and recorded movements into picked and packed contents. Required identity must be captured before the stock can proceed. Shelf-life and hold rules determine eligibility for a particular order; customer and quality requirements need configuration.
How are stock counts handled?
Counts retain the location and stock identity being checked, with a controlled boundary for concurrent warehouse work. Differences can require a recount and a stock correction. Value thresholds determine the confirmation or independent approval required; missing cost and stale evidence need review.
Does it calculate inventory value?
Warehouse Management owns the documented physical quantity and location workflow. The financial inventory system owns valuation. Agree stock-event and snapshot behavior with that destination so reconciliation does not duplicate postings. Item cost here supports adjustment decisions.
Can we run multiple warehouses?
The model separates warehouses, locations, work and authority by site. Floor access is scoped to assigned warehouses; authorized managers can oversee more than one. Inter-site handoffs and the financial posting owner need explicit rollout design.
How long does a rollout take?
Timing depends on the source data, building setup, devices, connections and work that needs migration. Plan rehearsals and readiness checks with the implementation team. A clean switch between completed waves is the baseline; migrating in-flight picks or carrier commitments needs additional scope.
What does it cost?
There is no per-user fee for ordinary manual work in the official interface. Machine work and retained data follow the platform's usage rates, with implementation priced separately. Model use and the Proto Agent fee are additional where applicable. The pricing page contains the full contract.

The base account and ordinary manual work in ERP.AI's official interface are $0. Viewing, searching, creating, editing, approving, deleting and exporting records in that interface do not consume read or write credits. There is no per-user fee.
Machine work: external API-key requests, imports, workflows, agents and scheduled jobs. Successful external API-key reads and writes use the operation rates below. Starting a managed execution from the interface still starts that metered service.
